This made me miss "The Academy", an abandoned school my friends and I used to spend nights in. I went to that school as a kid. It was hell for me. One of the strictest religious schools I'd ever experienced. Years later after its abandonment it became a sort of home for us. So many fond memories. Boyfriend and I are going back to that town to re-explore with my old friends and this time, document it. There's a special kind of beauty in the derelict. Urban Exploration is a hobby unlike any other.

I have been to the silver spring estate before. the place thats at 3:27. i almost got in quite a bit of trouble when the fire department got called on us for exploring the gymnasium. also is one of the places in the begining the steel mill in baltimore? you seem to be from the DC area. you should give me a shout if your in the area and want to go exploring. i know of some cool places like missile bases, mansions and shooting ranges.
