I have been a Huge Queen fan since the moment I was born in 1980, I was exposed to "Down Here" early because im Christian, unless you listen to Christian stations you probly hadnt heard them before. So I knew from as early as "Wide eyed and Mystified" how much like Freddy he sounds and look to a degree. I even sent him a lengthy letter begging him to do a cover of "Save Me". This revelation and consequent resolution is a dream come true for me. I will get to see Freddy after all!

Far more than great cover!Even Queen has never played this song alive without a playback for the beginning part and the ending!!Even Freddie has never sung such a complete version, and usually lower several notes alive during some of their tours!! Mac is really like Freddie in his early years.But I'd say Freddie has a more powerful vocal and the song is also epic because of the song itself and its composer!! Wish Downhere can write such epic song in the future!

I think Marc is *more* than proficient as a vocalist, but some kind words to be said about the band as well. That guitarist is really good. The right tone, the right sound, the right vibrato. A couple of small errors, but this guy is good. Once the Queen thing passes, I am pretty sure these guys may be the new hope for the sad state of music now. I really so.
