  • translation:

I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord,

who is adept at playing on His flute,

whose eyes are blooming like lotus petals, whose head is bedecked with peacock feathers, whose beauty is tinged with the hue of blue clouds,

and whose unique loveliness charms millions of Cupids.

Whose limbs whose organs, possess all the functions,

See, maintain, manifest for ever the universes.

Blissfull true, full of meaning, His form dazzling,

Govinda the Original Person I do worship

  • . Precious, played this song in the morning and I thought, god, this is the most beautiful song in the world ... From that day I learned more and I followed almost every mantras in particular that this was the first, I thank the person who uploaded this video because it must be a great devotee of God ... Greetings, HARIBOL!

  • I love this song really, I am not a devout but every time I go to the temple near the place where I work, I am free to all tenciones and concerns of the day, once I stayed to watch was a day in the temple

  • Its not a wall...more like a door to the sanctum sanctorum. The deities are always accorded their privacy, except during darshan-time when their lordships bestow the sheer causeless mercy of their transcendental beauty, on their eternal servants.

    Gaura-premanandey HARIBOL !!!

    In reply to ----

why is there a wall (or whatver it should be called) before the deities?

  • can someone post the lyrics?

Just Enjoy the Sweetness of lord's Darshan...

Remember .. Govindam Aadi Purusham Tam aham bhajami.. Lead me from the unreal to the Real; !! असतो मा सद गामय: !!

  • A nice warm feeling, oh how I miss getting up a 4:00 in the morning at the Atlanta Hare Krsna Temple!

  • 1. When did I say I favored Lord Shiva?

    2. What do you mean, "be more honest" and "ignorance is bliss". I am not ignorant and I have not been dishonest in my comments. I have never claimed to be a spiritual person or a Shaivite or a Hindu of any kind.

And how can you call Lord Shiva a Vaishnava?

This is what I hate about Hinduism, each sect thinks they're God's favorites.

  • I'm not a Hindu but I'm interested in Hinduism. I wish there was more of a Shaiva (Shiva-devotee) movement in the world, like the huge Vaishnava movement there is today. Shaivas are kind of underrepresented compared to Vaishnavas.

  • Just wonding here, why, if your not a hindu, would you favor Lord Shiva? Also, Lord Shiva is the greatest Vaisnava, so if you follow him, for what reason will it be? To learn from him about how to be a vaisnava?

  • Oh, any Hindus or Hinduism scholars out there... what do Hare Bom, Hari Bol, and Bom Shankar mean?

  • You know, I don't even like Srila Prabhupada (he dissed Hinduism even though Hare Krishna is based in Hinduism), but I love ISKCON bhajans.

  • haha, i just read this after posting the one above,, you don't like Srila Prabhupada, that explains it all. Well, maybe you should be honest with your desires, and see that at the moment, your not really truthful about being a spiritual person, but that you have other motivations a heart for being a so-called "hindu". Well, it's a big learning curve and ignorance is bliss, and remember, you reap what you sow.

  • PAMHO !

    LOVE IT ALL !

The best wake up reason every day !

    AGTSP !!!

  • very interesting, thank you!

  • Haribol, glories to srila prabhupada

  • But Srila said bad things. He said that our beloved god Shiva is a demigod. We all know Shiva is a real god like

    vishnu.

All glouries to shiva om namah shivaya

  • Thank you for sharing this video.

  • Thankyou Srila Prabhupada saviour of mankind and jagad guru for the whole universe
