You could make it a lot more efficient by offsetting the two pistons and placing them on the same crank shaft, that way their springs would directly oppose each other. Great idea, and great design, I plan on trying this myself!
That must be pretty hard on the motor with those springs! YOu should try using the smaller compressor pumps. How fast does your compressor build up compressed air?

The spring are in line. Left spring compensat the right one. The compressor build up verry fast. I have seen your compressor nice pressure switch.
