  • I based his running form on how well he changed support from one leg to another, i.e. how he utilised his body weight through leaning and pulling his leg better than those around him. His postural form has very little to do with it. I agree postural change could have affected his running but all humans are made up differently and no one is perfect. He did amazing things despite his postural form.

  • @4painey4 Fail on the analysis of Lewis.

  • Michael Johnson did not have good running form. In fact, it was probably some of the worst in history.

Not bashing him, because i love him.

He had severe anterior pelvic tilt, or lordosis, which caused him to never be able to get his knees above 70ish degrees and turned his butt muscles off almost completely.

If he would have fixed his anterior tilt he would have ran a 19 flat or even a 18 high...He would have hit 42. easily as well.

  • @Z4N30 Totally agree. Carl had better form than him! Of course, Clyde no doubt helped Johnson in the 400, that's his specialty, but Clyde is not a 100 specialist, as you can see in Johnson's 200 to 100 comparison.

I am not able to notice this subtle detail. Do you have a link, where it is easier to see?
