This is AMAZING! I'm a die hard Arwen shipper and can't stand the "threat" of Lancelot, but this video is brilliant. You did an incredible job of telling the story and the music was beautiful accompaniment. So moving.
I love this vid. I think you did a very good job retelling the story. I never really liked the whole Guinevere and Lancelot betraying Arthur part of the story it always made me dislike them a bit but your vid made me feel for them as much as I used to feel for Arthur. you did a really good job, well done

I mean I already love videos of merlin that go after the legend because this is my favourite aspect of that show...but this video blow it all away. I love the Guinevere/Lancelot/Arthur storyline! First thank you so much for making them come to life! And really to life! This was so incredible real it seemed like a movie. WOW! My favourite part was when Arthur said "Pick it up" to Lancelot. It was just so real I had to grin from ear to ear.

Aaww shiz! As much as I love Merlin's story, the original Arthurian Legend is just full of <3 of how Arthur felt about Gwen. He loved her so much and she too him. Even though things went sour between them, Gwen didn't go back to Lancelot. She spent the rest of her lives in a monetary repenting her sins after the death of King Arthur:( She loved him. Thank you for this. BEAUTIFUL.
@AtDamagedBest There are so many versions to the legend, but most of them involve Lancelot and Gwen getting together and leaving Arthur heart broken (poor bb), and he feels terribly bitter by his right hand mans betrayal, eventually leading to his death by being mortally would by Mordred. Or so I've read numerous times. :)
Wooow this vid blew me away! The storyline was great and perfectly easy to follow! And i must say that i don't like the Lancelot/Gwen's "affections" (AT ALL!) but this was really beautiful!

@psawyer20 There are a lot of things to love about Merlin, but the weak love triangle is definitely not one of them! If I was in charge of script writing, Lancelot wouldn't even show up until the third season--and then, I would make him a main character instead of once-per-season character. And I'd give him some decent lines, too. But now I'm getting off on a tangent...anyway, I'm glad you liked my video! :)

You really never cease to amaze me. I have never seen such a believable Arthur/Gwen/Lancelot vid like this. There's been a few out there that try and follow the original legend but none as perfectly as this. When Arthur comes into Gwen's cell...I got chills. @ccmrose Thanks for commenting! :) The lack of Lancelot footage makes it difficult to vid Arthur/Gwen/Lancelot without heavily favoring Arthur/Gwen. I didn't want to do a triangle unless I could portray both sides equally, so I was excited when I realized I could manipulate the clips to match the story line I had in my head.

Your au stories are what I love most about YouTube. It's stories like this that keep bringing me back to this site to watch videos. This is extremely believable and well thought out. It allows the viewer to make up their own mind about what they want to happen, instead of making it up for them. It takes an insanely talented editor to do that.
You have a way of choosing just the right amount of audio to help move the story along. I never feel like you've had too much too little. It's always perfect. I'm not sure how you manage that so consistently. But that's really what I've decided. You're consistently amazing. I honestly love every video you create

And I'm glad you think I've hit the "ambiguity" note just right. I like making videos where there's a little bit of leeway for interpretation--but not so much that the person watching is has no idea what's going on or feels unsatisfied with the ending!
I never know how to comment on your videos... they seriously all leave me speechless. You have such insane talent, wow. I've never shipped Lancelot/Gwen, but in this you made me love them. And I love how nobody was a clear-cut "good guy" or "bad guy." You always give your stories and characters such depth that I can't fully love or hate any of them. AMAZING, as ALWAYS!

I wish that they would make it a central focus on Merlin, but it looks like it's just going to be a one episode per season type deal. I'm glad you appreciated the Lancelot/Gwen ship--funnily enough, making this video has actually turned me into a bit of an Arthur/Gwen shipper. They're much more interesting to me when Lancelot is thrown into the mix :)

@psawyer20 There are a lot of things to love about Merlin, but the weak love triangle is definitely not one of them! If I was in charge of script writing, Lancelot wouldn't even show up until the third season--and then, I would make him a main character instead of once-per-season character. And I'd give him some decent lines, too. But now I'm getting off on a tangent...anyway, I'm glad you liked my video! :)

You really never cease to amaze me. I have never seen such a believable Arthur/Gwen/Lancelot vid like this. There's been a few out there that try and follow the original legend but none as perfectly as this. When Arthur comes into Gwen's cell...I got chills. And just, gah, all of your manips and audio was so perfect and well chosen...I love it. There's so much I could say, but I can't even find words. You are purely amazing. :D

@ccmrose Thanks for commenting! :) The lack of Lancelot footage makes it difficult to vid Arthur/Gwen/Lancelot without heavily favoring Arthur/Gwen. I didn't want to do a triangle unless I could portray both sides equally, so I was excited when I realized I could manipulate the clips to match the story line I had in my head.

@tigerlily536 Thank you! I used two different songs. The first one is called "Undying Love" by Two Steps From Hell (I'm a little obsessed with all of their songs). I'll paste the link below since I happen to have the window open right now :) The second song is called "I Dream of You" from the Tristan and Isolde soundtrack.

Your au stories are what I love most about YouTube. It's stories like this that keep bringing me back to this site to watch videos. This is extremely believable and well thought out. It allows the viewer to make up their own mind about what they want to happen, instead of making it up for them. It takes an insanely talented editor to do that.

You have a way of choosing just the right amount of audio to help move the story along. I never feel like you've had too much too little. It's always perfect. I'm not sure how you manage that so consistently. But that's really what I've decided. You're consistently amazing. I honestly love every video you create

@meeshell384 Ah thank you!! I honestly love making AU and crossover videos. It's much easier for me to finish a video when I have a plot in mind; I guess that's the writer in me :)
And I'm glad you think I've hit the "ambiguity" note just right. I like making videos where there's a little bit of leeway for interpretation--but not so much that the person watching is has no idea what's going on or feels unsatisfied with the ending!

I never know how to comment on your videos... they seriously all leave me speechless. You have such insane talent, wow. I've never shipped Lancelot/Gwen, but in this you made me love them. And I love how nobody was a clear-cut "good guy" or "bad guy." You always give your stories and characters such depth that I can't fully love or hate any of them. AMAZING, as ALWAYS!

@Sparralex Thank you! :) The Camelot love triangle is so angsty and tragic. I wish that they would make it a central focus on Merlin, but it looks like it's just going to be a one episode per season type deal. I'm glad you appreciated the Lancelot/Gwen ship--funnily enough, making this video has actually turned me into a bit of an Arthur/Gwen shipper. They're much more interesting to me when Lancelot is thrown into the mix :)
