As an audio engineer myself, I actually agree with this lady. Certain people do need certain audio equipment to 'tailor' their voice correctly, otherwise it can be disastrous. So I would have to agree, she was definitely not treated fairly. Simon is a total A-hole anyways, of that there's no doubt, but again I can tell you it's not a matter of how good you sound at any one time, it's what type of gear is being used in conjunction with the musician or vocalist. This can be crucial.

Agree shes not a talented singer, appears deluded & that the judges could have been harsher but raises some interesting issues in terms of commercial exploitation and societal humiliation of the disabled and mentally ill. This whole clip paints an obvious setup for ratings-the fact people enjoy watching it is sad. The disabled are one of the most discriminated group of people in our society.
