My Grandmother is dying from renal failure. She was fine until she put on a drug for TB. Her test produced a false positive result, and based on that, the doctor put her on Rifampin. They told her to ignore the urine staining and such. It made her vomit, but they told her it would pass. The vomiting didn' t cease until she finished the course. She's filling up with fluid, and has labored breathing. She has maybe 5 days left-if she lasts that long.
Drs are NOT addressing the fact that FLUOROQUINOLONES, which the general public has been lead to believe are "safe" antibiotics, even though they are synthetic POISONS, are a leading CAUSE of kidney failure. Yet they remain on the market, prescribed to treat simple infections, WITHOUT WARNING. A Black-Box has recently been placed on them (for tendon rupture) AFTER Public Citizen filed several petitions... Johnson & Johnson just LOST the 1st of THOUSANDS of lawsuits recently filed.
I have it, and worst. I even have glaucoma. But i give up treatments, I know i only have 3 years to live. On the day of my departure. I will hide in a very quiet place and die.....
Im afraid so, from a wide variety of causes, in young children I think the most common cause is ongoing urinary tract ascending infection as a result of reflux of urine from the bladder into the ureter and kidney. These infections must be recognised and long term antibacterials given until the bladder has grown and developed.
if its chroninc and declared that your kidneys are already not functioning,... as what the man in the video said ... all of the waste materials in the body like uremia, azotemia, ketones may accumulate ... and may lead to death
I have kidney failure and they really don't know what it is. There are a few cyst in them but they are normal size they my function in both kidneys are about 23 percent has been for about 2 years and the doctor has wanted me to go on dialyzes but I really don't think I need to do you think I need a second opinion
Thanks John :). Today the doctors think it was because of an acne medication she was taking call backtrin ( I think? ).. since being off of it her creatnin levels are dropping back down to normal :). Thank you so much. I'm so relieved.
It might be just me, but I think it would be helpful if you talk faster. I had too much time in between each point for my mind to wander and to become impatient.

This is very interesting- any info on renal failure is appreciated! We must all take care of our bodies so that we do not lose our kidney function, which is on the rise here in America at alarming rates. Learn about peritoneal dialysis if you are considering what form of dialysis to do. And take care of yourself so you will decrease your chances of every having to be one of our customers. As for destmaff, contact us and we'll help you with obtaining your answers. .

Could it be that the TB drug caused the kidneys to fail?

Dear Zeran,
I am sorry to hear this. However she may be OK on 20% function as long as the condition does not get any worse. Have you seen a good local doctor?
I wish you both well,
John
