Bummer they did SOOO few shows/tours,back in the day. I really think part of it is the way Axl gets that sound wiyh his voice,which always reminded me of Janis Joplin.Axl's speaking voice is super deep/low,so getting that voice,is part of the reason,he was so difficult.Getting THAT voice must have been difficult.Janis was a women,i.e. higher speaking voice.Some of these GnR clips are way better,than anything I saw on TV back then.Steven Adler was a HUGE part of the groove,lost a bit by losin him

@samisyosam That's actually not true. One thing about Axl is he was the cleanest member of the whole entire band. He never became addicted to drugs. He drank a lot, but he did not do heroin or cocaine or any other crap like that for that matter. Even his old bandmates have admitted that up front, that Axl has always been the cleanest of them all.
