Yes that was pretty cool but there are a couple things you can do to even triple its power poteintial. First make your barrel as long as you can(10ft or more is prefered)

Second replace the ball valve with a 3in sprinkler valve(they arnt cheap $100+ but they will help soo much.

And you also used DWV parts so you should never take it above 70psi otherwise it could explode

Think this one is indeed more dangerous than the others I've seen. There is no accurate limit to the pressure before the cement wear off or the tubing explodes. When exploding PVC tends to fragment sometimes. One could easily sever a artery. Also PVC wears when repeatedly put under much presure, or heat, so after time reliability decreases.

I'd prefer the hairspray/igniter variants: Less power, but even then, if the potato is too stuck...My advise is: keep it small and simple with potato guns

I used to be a tyre fitter, 120 psi is just a little bit more than a truck tyre. and your setup won't be able to take much more pressure. go get a bead blaster or an old butane clyinder and use a plasma cutter/ cold cutter to make a real cannon that takes a good 700 psi. by the way use a car compressor and stand back"remote trigger).
