Trigun is by far an excellent anime/manga, it shows the development and the change in characters well. It has a great moral and meaning in it as well as the characters meanings for doing and being the way they are. Such as Vash's actions, appearance, determination and love for all life is explained clearly through the series, its a damn shame they don't make anime like they used to anymore. Everything is all about tits and girls being exploited, such a shame. :/

I really love the way that throughout the series, you only get to hear this song one instrument at a time until at the very end you get the whole song. It is very symbolic of the audience's understanding of Vash as a character.

@TheProtoChimp Well, it actually played continually throughout the series, but it's a stripped version that plays. You might've just heard the part with flute. There was one part with this full version, when Vash and (OMG, what's his name with the cross) were rushing through a breaking train, i believe..or some type of vehicle. Can't be specific on what episode number... Good stuff, though.
