I love this. My dad was also a Newfoundlander who never manged to accept Canada as his country. Rather than become Canadian, he became an American citizen.

If you asked he would tell you he was a Newfoundlander or an American.

In reality, he was a citizen of three countries which I found really cool. Him, not so much.

I think this is the best,most heartfelt rendition of Where I Belong that I have heard him sing. You captures a great moment. He would've hooked me on this one if I hadn't known about him before.
