2 things:

1. You should pick up the target locator before you get the checkpoint, so you don't have to run/pick it up every time.

2. When you get the killionaire, you will usually NOT reach the checkpoint, there'll be a few elites that survive.

Easy way is to play The Arena on live I already got like 2110 3x when I played im not lying it actually does work but your team has to come in 1st and yea I've done this way many times doesn't work that good the easy ways are firefight, The Arena, and Big team you always get up in the thousands

I heard that some ppl have been baned before from doing the Gruntpocalypse head shot one but that makes no sence since they set it up that way but this i can see them fixing. Frankly i dont care cause rank doesnt repersent skill on Reach. Played plenty of Generals who couldnt do a thing right but i think its the armory that ppl wana get compleated more than anything

the more gold skulls you put on the more CR you get just from the kills, not just commendations. so put on whatever gold skulls you want

After you do this for a while the cR you get from the target locator will have fewer and fewer cR to it as you use it im down to 6cR to every shot you take with the locator and its better to do something else because now when i do this trick/glich in 16min. i only get 600-750cR so some one please find a better way...

I'm a little fuzzy on a detail: I'm at the point you described in the vid where getting the killionaire with the locator at this checkpoint gives me little more than 14cR. Does this "semi cap" wear off? And does it affect other game modes? Or perhaps just this checkpoint? To clarify, this has nothing to do with the comandations, as these are cR I was recieving that averaged around 180cR per killionaire when I 1st started.

This is cheating. I don't think they would reset you for doing it ONCE at a time and then continuing on with the mission, but to revert and do it time after time will earn a ban/reset.

@Maliki79 Bungie does not care if you reset to do this via checkpoint, it has been stated a few times by them. I even put in the video to read my description, because I have already given the proof of their thoughts on the use of this tactic for cR gain. Check their official site and read their update logs if you still don't believe. Making use of a check-point, does not warrant a ban. Making use of a program or hack to aid in the credit gaining does, which is why they recently banned 15,000.

As long as it is US, that is doing the checkpoint reverting, then this is a fine tactic to use in gaining what cR comes from it. HOWEVER:

"network manipulation and other easily detectable workarounds that fall well outside of standard game-play will result in a credit reset and several other punitive measures"

The 15k who were reset, were the ones not just using the checkpoint.

@Maliki79 Credit Reset nly applys to people who used a glitch in the system to repeat daily and weekley challenges. This was done by pulling out your ethernet cable as soon as challenge is complete. It allowed people to complete challenges over and over again hence gaining credits.

Any other method of farming is fine providing your not using a automation system. E.g. leaving xbox on all night with a elastic band around the movement trigger so you die ad resapwn.

when you first start doing this, by the way, you might get 200 credits in a single airstrike thing and when you keep getting your commendations higher you'll only get about 40-50 per round and when it gets to the 30s, that's your que to just be done

Great video. I played on Heroic today for a SOLID 85 minutes. I earned 20,085 on my Commendations. I didn't quite do exactly what you did, I had it where every time I reverted I just had to stand still and shoot.

Cannon Fodder, Super Soldier, Leadership Element, SpecOps, Walking Tank and Splash Damage are the ones you work on, on this boosting.
