  • Sherman: "It stinks! It stinks! It Stinks!"

Doctor: "Yes Mr. Sherman, everything stinks"

  • This is funny.

  • I miss that show.

  • 2 people are critics

  • I defiantly remember this show, but I don't remember Paramount ever having a channel.

  • I guess I have to be the one to say it:

This show needed more World Trade Center. <3

  • stephan wright=yes

  • THE last intelligent show on TV, ever. Pathetic.

  • clap clap clap

  • I got to respect this was a VHS record!

  • wow, i haven't seen this in years!! it was great :)

  • So this is where the Filler #71519 meme thing came from.

  • #71590 ? i think :P

  • After the initial opening that resembles very strongly the opening to Rhapsody in Blue, an extremely 90s sitcom style theme plays. So you're both right.

  • lmao gene shallot

  • Dr. Katz! love him. the best therapist ever.

  • There was a Paramount channel? Don't remember that. Was it a West Coast thing or something?

  • It's funny that this video got 25 likes and 0 dislikes

  • Great show, great theme song. Haha, his bedroom, bedspread and phone are so '90s. Miss the hell out of that decade.

  • i really consider this to be one of the greatest show intro tunes of all time...

  • I remember this show was "soo edgy" now its completely tame

  • The opening theme reminds me of Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin

  • @LeviathanMist

    Rhapsody in Blue inspired theme

  • I never got why he asked him to look at the window.

  • If I remember rightly it was on Bravo before it was on Paramount

  • Definitely my favorite cartoon intro. I don't know how to describe it, but I always felt this intro music fit the show 100%. Something about that catchy little clarinet/saxophone diddy just screams 1990's.

  • @Vondur The theme to the critic is supposed to emulate George Gershwin, who's sound has been used in many forms to represent New York City. Perhaps you could say it screams 1920's and 30's.

  • @doylesarahpal Thank you for owning that retard (I hate people who romanticise the 90s)

  • @AliminiumHydroxide And yet...you're watching...the opening from this 90's cartoon sitcom...hmmm...

  • @Vondur I guess thats why Seinfeld was so successful ha?

  • @erik4727 o_O ??

  • @Vondur IM just saying, Seinfeld totally fit your description

  • @Vondur you mean rhapsody in blue?

  • @Vondur It's perfect. It's a great tribute/rip-off to George Gershwin. Nothing about it that screams 'comedy', I like that.

  • @Vondur Something almost Woody Allen esque about it.

  • Wowzer, this will have been taped off the telly when I was first watching it way back in the 90s. Kudos. FYI, I have The Critic on DVD, i bought it while I was in Canada in 2006.
