  • legalise cannibis now then we can all go around stoned and people would act better towards each other it would be like the 60,s again

  • @shredmaster100 Yeah, like Chuck Manson acted towards the La Biancas and Sharon Tate.

  • hahahhahhahahaha yeah maybe not the best idea ive ever had still though the 60,s were a more fun time than today i think today is like the 1940,s with technology people are all depressed about losing their jobs and homes all they care about is money where as i dont i gave 1000 pounds cash to cancer research recently because money is just paper people are worth more than money because when someone dies they are gone and not coming back so people do need to care more 2day

  • You don't just SIT at a Hendrix concert!

  • @FoldedArt theyre all high tho lol

  • Funny how the muppets "Animal" reminds me of Mitch..

  • Hendrix was pretty fast.

  • Don't look at me like that. I was not there!

  • I LOVE HENDRIX NICE JOB!!

  • dam mitch is definitely one of the greatest drummers, id say the same level as jimi is for guitarists. new drummers suck so bad i hate them all. and dont say neil peart either, hes more of a solo drummer, hes nothing without his 1,000 piece drumset.

  • @stone314687 I agree, Peart is great in all, but nothing like Moon, Mitchell or (the ever so greatest) Bonham.

  • @insanewithdrumsthese gosh bonham is pure thunder. those are my guys right there, along with bill ward from black sabbath, thats the dream team right there. drummers today sound like everyone else, you know when you here one of these guys.

  • @stone314687 exactly, today they're all about whose the fastest, but these guys were all about the music.

  • what a great sound of bass with distortion...Noel Redding is awesome

  • Flawless Jimi!

  • That is sexy ass bass playin'

  • I was born in wrong era.

  • @IShadow90: you and me both. I feel like I missed out on a movement epic music. I was born in 80's but the 60's and the 70's= epitacular music.

  • @SMILESZ2 at least you are closer then me to that era.)

  • I would have been one of those crazy dancers....

  • The February 18th and euro tour footage spliced in the outro guitar solo is such a tease

  • lol this is like old and shit.

  • @ClownViolenceBoogie would you f*ck the f*ck off?

  • @ClownViolenceBoogie fuck you......

  • @ClownViolenceBoogie fuck off you new and jizz

  • @ClownViolenceBoogie

    nop asdjasofbvfofvfS?DVsdfa

  • back then...when chicks used to have a good taste in music

  • This performance is a master's class in rhythm guitar playing and perfectly illustrates what separates Hendrix from the crowd of other blues-based players. You can erase every solo the man ever played, and STILL have a true genius on the instrument based on his abilities as a rhythm player. But oh, that passage from 3:07-3:13 is simply insane!

  • He's no Ginger Baker but God bless em!

  • @Snotra Mitch is my fave man. But Baker was great too.

  • whats with the cops?

  • that cat can play

  • Bitching..........

  • WHY are there so many free places???

  • Excellent !!!!!!! Notice there are no thumbs down ? :)

  • 1:09

    Robert Fripp?

  • Mitch is on fire on this version RIP MM

  • Everybody is tripping out. Look at the cop, he is also moving to Jimmy's outrageousness.

  • Hendrix looks so angry :(

  • Shit! look at all them hippies!

  • Jimi "Fuckin'" Hendrix!!!

  • Hahaha that hippy dancer on the top is fuckin rocking it lol.

Mitch is great inspiration, I gotta try playing my own take on the drums to this song.

  • Thumbs if you own this song on Vinyl.

  • that mitch mitchell kicked ass on those drums... damn...............

  • I am a drummer and one night in Sligo Ireland I was playing in a hotel and Noel Redding came up and played 3 songs with our band HOW FAB IS THAT. Noel R I P.

  • Pretty impressive. maneatingtoilets, I'm a musician and back in the day, guys plugged in lots of cabs to their amps. If you got the impedance correct, you can plug in several cabs. He probably has the Sunn amps on the ground, behind the big cabs. Jimi played through Marshalls, Fender Showman and Sunn Coliseum amps.

  • Dig all those Marshall and Sunn cabs he was playing through. I wonder if he ever lost any of his hearing? Nobody can top Jimi.

  • @Bbendfender As far as Im aware an amp can only handle one or two cabs. Unless theres some technical voodoo im unaware of, hes probably only playing through one stack. And yeah I reckon most musicians who dont use earplugs get some hearing damage.

  • That drummer aint no fucking joke!, The ONE...the ONLY...Mitch Mitchel !!!

  • The music back then was soooo different... It was in hearts back then, and there was a cause. Now it's just for money, and fame

  • 1:05 those guys are thay still alive today? does any one knows their names ? are they on lsd? i would really like to meet these guys if they still alive today.. HELP SVP

  • @AndriiLemonade does anyone know their names!????....oh my goodness...they are FAMOUS musician in rock lore.....Mitch Mitchell on drums (deceased) and Noel Redding (deceased) on bass.....all 3 of these guys are in The Rock and Roll hall of Fame......and please tell me you at least know that Jimi died in 1970 at 27...

  • @AndriiLemonade Jimi is that guy on guitar......geeze

  • @AndriiLemonade NONE of these duds are alive today. I had the good fortune of seeing Hendrik live, twice. Once in L.A. and then again at Woodstock in "69. I don't know what Planet u r from, man, but these guys are legends.

  • The audience didn't know how lucky they were at the moment.

  • @allgoo19 so true

  • All other guitarists in the world are innovators.Jimi Hendrix is the inventor

  • The great Mitch Mitchell is a funky machine gun on drums.

  • @omegapoint0 you god damn right, my friend!

  • @omegapoint0 Mitch Mitchell's drumming, and Jimi's guitar,a match made in heaven.Mitch's hands were all over that drum kit, like an Indian godess.

  • @omegapoint0 May he rest in peace, Mitch Mitchell was one of my favorite drummers of all times. As a drummer, I am inspired by him. He was all over the kit all the time.

  • Fire and the other "F" song,Foxey Lady, should have gone to the Top 40 in the USA if not for pure, blatant RACISM!! Jimi was the greatest artist who ever lived who NEVER had a top 40 song on Billboard. His highest ranking was #45 for "All along the Watchtower...and it was'nt even his song!! Shameful..

  • @hiwaychile1 Thats wrong ,check your facts on wikipedia

  • @kimmedavid I laugh when people say I'm wrong about Hendrix facts...I lived thru th' time and saw him liveat 14,my brother went to Woodstock..I think what u are reading is th' UK Billboard rankings where his songs were ALWAYS in th' top 10! Read ur sorry wikipedia again and if u find a sentence or phrase that says ANY Hendrix song charted higher than #67 IN THE U.S.,copy,paste and reply it to my inbox..lennyt2@hotmail.com

  • @hiwaychile1 did it

  • 2:45

  • I love how there's the army guy or watever, being all serious, looks like he doesn't give a shit about Jimi Hendrix, and then you have some dudes behind him, going apeshit during all the song.

  • Is this in England? I just ask because the audience looks like a mass grave...

  • @gahrzahk LOL! Yes, it's London...but don't forget that Jimi Hendrix had to go to the UK to get recognised. He made it there before the USA.

  • @novadrian

all acts had to go to UK to be truly recognised, that goes for hendrix, beach boys (1966-onwards), janis joplin, and lost of modern bands

  • The edition is so random

  • You can tell he loves that guitar like it's his wife

  • 2:13 Morbid fed hahahaha love it! Jimi's the man

  • perfect!

  • Holland.

  • Yeah, this versions is one of my favorites. But Jimi never played a song 2times the same. Never. Thats ART.

  • @Staziish where are you from, man?

  • @Ariel23rus Holland.

  • @Staziish don't forget about drugs!

  • It has this rly big pulsating sound in this version to me

  • maybe the best live version of this song
