Double bass, bass violin, upright bass, bass. Those are the main things it called, but each is differant in the way of application. Double bass/bass violin are generally in an ochestral setting, while upright bass has lower (closer to the finger board) strings for jazz, rockabily, and over all pitzing and walking.
