as much as i would want to agree with you, there are elements in metal like this that do require talent. the trick is not letting all of your stuff sound the same. these guys are good, but from what i've heard, it's the same tricks every song, that's why i listen to like, two of their songs. but trust me, it does take some talent to do it. just not as much if you were doing some neoclassical progressive metal.

Really, it wont sell out arena's. Have you ever seen metal festivals like Wakken and ozzfest, mayhem fest .. The crowed it draws is from tens to hundred of thousands with a lack of real publicity. Oh yeah by the way playing this particular song is a lot harder then your borign ass old man blues or the classic rock shit that you still hold on too.. This requires fast picking, precise timing and a lot of string skipping.. Learn to play this first before making a bitch ass comment fag

really? i can play this song on guitar and it is very hard there is a lot of string skipping (with palm mutes) you need to be extremely accurate there are harmonics with tremolo picking

and as much as you would like to think otherwise even the vocals take work and not everybody can do it right

so learn about the music before you talk shit especially since you probably couldn't even play the intro
