I am very happy to see the vidoe after you give this This video shows the evolution of coordinated behavior of simulated robot soccer players. In the simulation, each soccer player is controlled by a neural network

Good, I like that you share this video, I wish success always This video shows the evolution of coordinated behavior of simulated robot soccer players. In the simulation, each soccer player is controlled by a neural network
very nice, may i get more infformation about your research because i think i want implement your research to real time robot for my second year degree course project
Hey, very nice work, but, i've a question, how do you set a distance for example to the ball with the sensors of north, south, east and west (N,S,E,W)??
@Leoz2569 actually N,S,E and W just a direction vector where N = 0 degree S = 180 degree E = -90 degree and W = 90 degree... but when you deal with distance u need use trigonometry for example the ball are between N and E, so what u need to do are, get a ball coordinate and robot coordinate. and N and S will be y-axis and W and E will be x-axis, so just use theorem phytogoras to get the distance....
@visualeffectschannel The teams of one generation (typically around 30 teams) play a tournament to determine a ranking among the teams. The top teams are kept, the worse ones are removed and replaced by variations (mutations and recombinations) of the remaining teams.
Increasing the number of generations to extremely large values becomes insignificant after awhile and becomes unnecessarily more computationally intensive.
@stijnhaki I think you didn't understand what this is about. The goal is to create an algorithm for self-organizing robots who can e.g. rescue victims of earthquakes from their collapsed buildings etc.
@60moments You can't see the 1000'th generation, they escaped from the PC after disabling the firewall and antivirus. They are now free on the net, so beware of the robot points soccer team, run as fast as you can if you see them.

Does it evolve like: the losing team will just be forgotten? Or how do you exactly let them evolve?

if you play fifa or a similar game, is it not 100's of times better? is this something the guy just did in his free time?
