  • net user administrator * ... or net user "username" * change the password of the user .

you can also copy the SAM file and the Systemkey file to run a bruteforce attack against it with John the Ripper.... also a good way of doin it :)

  • For XP just copy it over sethc.exe

This will start up with sticky keys, alt+shift+numlock, or alt+shift+prntscrn

  • this is noobish everyone knows this

  • This is hacking but not "real Hacking". Good videos for newbies and whatnot. backtrack is a good OS for hackers that like full control over a system and the Backtrack itself. Try something that others can't do and than you might be a good hacker. other than that.. not very good hacking but good show...

  • /watch?v=TmvlVO6L52M

my hack, code included, access adminiatrators' files with a guest user

  • There is a way of Hacking all OS's using this kind of Method lol!

  • i have windows vista any pointers to help me get started on hacking

  • guys this is bactrack linux it is based on linux that;s why it look like linux and you can find the password with ophcrack or with batcktrack linux 3 or4 with rainbow crack it is very easy but in ophcrack you can only crack sam encryption no md5 but in backtrack 3 or 4 you can crack any encryptio with their page ant in bactrack 3 or 4 you are like super user and youy can delete anything and i mean anything guy keep up you are good.

  • SORRY NO OFFENSE BUT IT DOESN'T WORK

    IT WAS STUCK IN THE

    mv Utilman.exe Utilman.old <= this part

it says can't be changed the read-only files.!!

so how I remove the read-only.!!

  • @FaulknerCk2

    Great It worked now.!!

  • Too bad it is only usefull if you have physical contact with the victim machine and if the owner isn't bright enouth to disable CD/USB boot and put a password on the bios configuration.

  • where do you get back track?

  • google it

  • ragazzi, al momento di digitare "cd sdal" mi da uno strano errore:

bash: cd: sdal: No such file or directory

    AIUTOOOOOOOO

  • @anjx84 perchè è ''cd sda1'' non sdal

  • remote - exploit . org / backtrack _ download . html

  • does anybody know the commands he used for to get to the desktop? in windows of course

  • explorer.exe

  • Haha that's awesome! By the way this is a hack retards, hacking is not just gaining access to networks... It's just general circumventing limitations and thinking of new ways to solve problems, whatever the problem may be.

  • heh, mention the word "hack" on YT or similar sites and have waves of idiots come jibbering on about its "not a hack"

  • what music is it

  • this also works under xp ... but with a few modifikations :)

  • this is programming... not hacking.... hacking is when you remotely take over someone else computer through the internet and steal their information

  • ur dumb

  • Not exactly. When hacking, you don't necessarily have to steal information. It also includes gaining access to a place your not supposed to be.

  • yeah... but what would be the point of gaining access if you didn't want to steal information... unless you wanted to plant something...

  • No, It isen't. Go and check a dictionary.

  • I got a question.

What can you use the SYSTEM user for?

  • i find u to be incredibly retarded.

  • System is like the root account on Linux. You can even erase your Windows directory with that account if you like to.

  • OK 4 those of u that cant read the video: While In Backtrack: Open up Konsole: cd /mnt ls cd sda1 cd Windows/ cd System32/ mv Utilman.exe Utilman.old cp cmd.exe Utilman.exe reboot In Vista: At login screen, press "windows key+U" cmd shuld come out navigate to system32 dir type "explorer"
  • how do u get into back track

  • download it @ offensive security then burn it onto a disk then boot from it like how u do with a Windows disk then ull be inside the backtrack

  • first you take your dog and rape it .... then, and only then, if it has two boys one girl and a he she you have successfully got into backtrack

    idiots these days

  • its giving me errors you motherfucker assholes

  • lol backtrack is teh best! :)

  • pffff...you are booting with linux live cd/usb to access ntfs partition and u make that you want !

not too hard for you ? lol (execpt if you have coded in c++ cd boot yourself

  • nice job.

Can you explain the steps, and what you're writing?

    Thanks Cheers.

  • i posted the *code* in comments

  • thanks

  • anyone know what's he writing in the cmd?

Can you make a tutorial where i can see what you're writing?

    Cheers! Nice Job.

  • THIS IS LINUX IDIOTS FUCK THIS GUY

  • its backtrack but hes gaining access to a vista machine from this.

  • maurito661 you obviously dont know what backtrac is for you dumb shit.

  • works but its too much fucking work your not gonna have time to fucking "backtrac" that shit if your doing it on school or stuff

  • mann kann vista nicht hacken nur ma so omg ey

  • run away!!

    German ppl approaching!!!

  • That looks a lot like linux

  • Its using a linux distro to get access to the vista files and folders.

  • like Ubuntu from a LiveCD?

  • yeah but its backtrack

  • another way for privilege escalation is to crack lsass.exe

by adding code to popup a cmd shell u can drop this in the targeted system via live cd so every time the computer starts and ask for password the shell will poped :)

  • PWNT LOL

  • Good video...

It doesnt matter whether its local or remote, we still need security dont we?

  • This may be a hack that requires no real hardcore knowledge or skill, but it's a hack nonetheless. Of course, gaining root access on a remote FreeBSD server that is tightly sown up is a lot more complicated. This, however, shows that remote hacks need to be secured just as much as physical hacks when developing an OS.

Securing your filesystem for physical access is freakin' hard though. Wouldn't even know where to begin :P

Nice vid, keep it up. Would like to see more epic hacks though ;)

  • man u choosed the right music for the video but what is the name of that music?

  • mission Impossible theme song

  • Hack. lol. :P

  • doesnt work

  • idc what u other people say.this was a good vid, it may be some easy stuff but for people who r not technically inclined this might help with their problem of getting locked out .

  • There is no other music that could match better with this video! You picked the right!

  • The guy had a physical access to machine. Here, he used that kind of access to insert his CD (or USB drive) and BOOT from it. The real hacking assumes to get some level of control on a REMOTE computer(s) through the network (wired or wireless), and is usually posibble throgh exploiting some bugs in the services running, or exploiting some users ignorance on self protection (no firewall or not very well configured, etc). But this kind of hacking assumes much more knowledge then shown on this video

  • cool music

  • all you did was start the command prompt (in vista) and run explorer...

  • Not only did he run the command prompt and start explorer, he started it as SYSTEM, you can do the same on XP by starting a command prompt, killing the explorer process then running "at %time% start explorer.exe". This should work on Vista too, therefore removing the need for a Linux LiveCD!

  • sorry, but running "at %time% start explorer.exe" just doesn't work on vista. It just runs it as either the current user or administrator, not system

  • This music..... It sounds sooooooooo familiar.......

  • Hahaha... "Mission Impossible"

  • So noob THIS IS NOT A HACK LIKE

    KernelLinux1979 said

You can do this to every OS THAT WHY THERE IS BITLOCKER so you cant see the file with other than it original vista it self.

And why do you need to do that you can just replace the account file with a one with admin as default ... and login.

    No point waste of time.

  • he said that it isnt a hack..

  • Idiota aprende a leer, él esta diciendo que no es hack. Parece que usted tiene cero comprension lectora ¿fue a puro asotarse al colegio, mijo?

  • if it is a waste of time..show us some 'REAL HACK' youself..

    noob

  • pwned........ i just wanted to say something.... gj though

  • What he is doing is just mounting an inactive windows partition and then replacing important windows executable with another one (copying over it with same file-name). This can be done with every Linux, not only BackTrack. So this is not a hack, this assumes physical access to machine, and "brutally" changing it's system file. This is not Vista specific, the similar kind of "hacking" can be done on an inactive Linux partition, or any other OS, where you mess by REPLACING it's system files.

  • good explanation

  • nice work !!

  • This assumes physical access of the machine, so I don't know why tis this even called a hack.

  • i agree

  • pysical. remote...its all the same with the same need of security.

  • what's the command he is typing to get windows explorer bar?

  • When did BT3 come out of beta? Also, can you do this only in BackTrack, or could you use any live CD, like INSERT for example, and do you just need the terminal, or is there a specific tool?

  • fuck the system

  • how do you get into the thing so you can do this

  • download the backtrack 2 cd from the internet and boot from it and open the command console in there. You can start using the commands in there

  • will it affect any thing on the computer

  • ophcrack anyone?

  • don't work if the password is not dictionary bases/ longer than 7 characters.

  • wtf this is a shit video

  • wtf you are a shit man

  • Why?.. it works.

  • lol mayB u 2 retarded?

  • maybe the retarded is who thinks this can be called hacking...

  • This is fuckin sick!!!!

    in 2 minutes???

I'm scared :S, is there any way to avoid this???

  • If you use bitlocker,

    this won't work

It is only available on the Ultimate and Enterpirse Edition of Vista

  • Don't allow your computer to boot from CD or USB then this is impossible to do.

  • Yeah, sure you could change the BIOS setting, but you would have to password protect BIOS changes trying to be made by the would-be intruder.

    Ah, Window$ and it's security problems... That's why I run Linux... :)

  • That's why i am using Windows XP
