right to anyone who didnt listen propaly, preety much once u put the superhub in modem mode if you buy a anouther internet box i bought a Netgear WGR614 v9 Virgin Wireless G Wifi Cable Router. you plug the the yellow wire what you got from virgin once end in the superhub and the other in the (internet box u bought my case netgear) and u get wireless out of your (internet box wat u bought my case netgeat once again..) now u have wireless coming from the router u bought im glad.. have a nice day:)

Guys please help, i just move in to shared house where is 30mb virgin broadband when i checked speed it shows between 15-30 mb speed, so basically 4/5 computers are connected i do play games online and got high ping damn, even coz speed is still good enough i got ping, how do i fix it? Please help, comment anybody please, may be we can set up superhub for speed, i mean each pc gets % of speed from total, or it does not matter?

Right i bought a Netgear N300 router, last night i tried to connect it to my virgin superhub, which was in modem mode/with the ethernet in LAN1 but i could not get a internet signal? theres no internet slot so I put it in LAN1 of the router, but it still kept saying there was no internet connection??? Would love you long time if any ideas are submitted

Another way to fix this is to use port forwarding in the advanced settings as I have been told it is port number 3074 and make sure to set the ip address to your xbox 360 or ps3 because the last number is important for the product that needs to connect to the ea servers.

can you have a wired connect coming straight out of the SuperHub. Does it still happen if you do that. (ie, having an ethernet coming out of one of the yellow ethernet ports on the back of the superhub thus having a wired connection?)

Before I try this I have to ask. Would disabling the wireless via holding the button for 6 seconds on the side have the same affect? I need to be able to turn wireless on and off for other users at home and don't want the fanny on of keep going into computer and doing all restart n disabling and making modem only.

Thanks for this video, I'm sure this will help many people and you should post a link on the huge forum thread on EA's site that deals with this issue. However I won't be shelling out for a new router though, EA can kiss my ass or fix it since it is their responsibilty. When you pay £30 for a game it should work out of he box you shouldn't have to fiddle around with hardware.

The sure fire way to know when your Super Hub has changed from router to modem is the Virgin Media logo on the front goes from blue to purple. Router = Blue Logo, Modem Mode = Purple Logo.
