@KOLTCOD It would, but with the mechanical blowback I wouldn't use past a 9.6v nimh or if you wanna push it a 7.4v lipo. An 11.1v lipo would almost certainly break a javelin blowback m4 within 1k rounds.
@FallenSniper89 KWA is not that good....the spur gear and sector gears teeth are very weak, as they are narrower than normal gears, you cant replace 9mm ball bearings with the better bushings, the Hopup etc. are proprietary, and the gears do not have shims on them, making em prone to failure...

Not only this vid, i have noticed that their are many out their. li-po batteries are for maximum performance in a gun. Be prepared to buy aftermarket parts to replace the stock parts if you use one instead of a Ninh
if you charge it with a regular Nimh charger the cells wont be charged properly and you most likely will ruin the battery and possibly cause the volatile nature of lipos to be set off and the battery expode rather violently

it depends on your budget and also where you play. if you play in your backyard, in tight areas every weekend or so, go with an Echo1. If you would be playing in an open area with numerous people, itd probably benefit you to go with something a little more performance oriented. If you are on a budget, go Echo1. otherwise check out KWA, Tokyo Marui, or Classic Army. Note that KWAs and Classic Armys will require occasional maintenance whereas Tokyo Marui will never need to be touched.
actually any gun you want to keep for a reasonable amount of time, you will have to maintain it. Whether that be cleaning the inner barrel to lubricating moving parts.
the only maintenance ive ever had to do for a KWA is cleaning out the barrel.. Its easy to say that a KWA will outlast a CA or TM too (dont flame me if your a TM or CA fanboy because i have JG, AGM, TM guns too)

I would not convert an Echo1 to use Li-Po batteries... you need real enforced gears and the KWA is designed for th Li-po... if you somehow go tthe echo1 to accept the li-po your gears would strip and your gun wouldnt last more than a couple mags if that
i know this post is forever old. but... your echo 1 m4 can a 11v lipo with little concern at the start of its life but after about 10,000 rounds of ammo is when things will start going wrong.
i say m4 because its like 10 to 20 bucks cheaper depending on where u get it and it is pretty much the same. looks a little plain but a little lighter also. but ur choice

well its designed so you shouldnt really have to switch parts... stock 400 fps out of the box with reinforced gears and 1000 rpm potential.. waht more do you want? as long as you take care of any gun they should last a long time

Did your lipo come with a lil piece to connect the red and black cords on it to your gun..? Cause I just got mine in the mail today and I don't see how I'm supposed to connect my lipo to my gun..

depends you getting the carbine or rail version? CA makes a very nice M4a1 that looks more realistic because of the markings. KWA has this logo and CA has other stuff. KWA 400 fps and CA is 315 fps so right there ul ahvev to upgrade the CA. Your ROF will be less on the CA too but its a damn good gun.. KWA is the best gun for its money because you spend a lot of money upgrading other guns that cost the same. KWA is better stock gun but when ca is upgraded its the same....(unless your using Li-po)

KWA has top of the line internals... best reinforced because of the li-po. it was made to outlast every other airsoft gun before it. they also have a CQB version of it. KWA saves you money because you dont have to worry about upgrading it or replacing internals as frequent

So if you dont want the same gun as everyone else go with the g36 but performance... stick with this KWA

i bought the red alert 11.1V lipo battery from airsoft GI.
It works perfectly fine and if u have this gun i DEFINATLY suggest u buy it.
so far the charge has lasted me AN ENTIRE YEAR, not even close to depleting.
The ROF is CRAZY
ive read the gun can take a 16 volt so im thinking of find a 14 volt...(:

1. the KWA doesnt need any parts because its already pre-upgraded, a lot of airsoft fields have a 400 fps limit

should i get the G&P m4a1 or KWA m4a1? i dont really need 400fps cuz it hurts like crap. the G&P is 375 fps. i also dont need crazy ROF so lipo battery i dont really need. also its cheaper but only like $35 so no big deal. if u drop the KWA m4a1 will all these white scratches come out not sayin i gonna try and drop it. plz reply.

well what are you gonna airsoft for if you dont want ROF and 400 fps? using .25g bb's ul get around 350+ fps and very nice accuracy... ive never dropped mine so i dont know. I trust KWA, the gun will last longer

Did your lipo come with a lil piece to connect the red and black cords on it to your gun..? Cause I just got mine in the mail today and I don't see how I'm supposed to connect my lipo to my gun..

depends you getting the carbine or rail version? CA makes a very nice M4a1 that looks more realistic because of the markings. KWA has this logo and CA has other stuff. KWA 400 fps and CA is 315 fps so right there ul ahvev to upgrade the CA. Your ROF will be less on the CA too but its a damn good gun.. KWA is the best gun for its money because you spend a lot of money upgrading other guns that cost the same. KWA is better stock gun but when ca is upgraded its the same....(unless your using Li-po)

well is the m4a1 good for long range too? i dont want to have like 2 guns. Cuz the g36 has folding stock. also i think its good for long range if u just upgrade internals a bit and get a bipod and cmag

yes its very good for long range.... esp with .25g bb's.. because its 400 fps with .20's you still have as much fps as the stock g36 with .25g

i just need a gun that can be good for support and cqb. i don't really need a crazy rof like the KWA m4a1 but i dont wanna have a really bad 1 either. u think also wut should i upgrade so the g36 wont break cuz i think ill get 1 of them. like if the rof is too high it might break it so wut should i get to get accuracy, fps, and strong internals so wont break in like 1 month. i decided on tightbore barrel and a m120 systema spring but dont know strong internals.

KWA has top of the line internals... best reinforced because of the li-po. it was made to outlast every other airsoft gun before it. they also have a CQB version of it. KWA saves you money because you dont have to worry about upgrading it or replacing internals as frequent

Damn that sucks lol! the place i go to doesnt let u shoot guns lol. u think that i should get KWA m4a1 with m203 grenade launcher or get a CA g36 and upgrade to like 400 fps and get a ag36 grenade launcher? i like the ag36 on the g36 it makes it look sick. which 1?

ive never tested the g36.... ul feel cool with the g36 cuz not many people use them compared to the m4... you may hate the m4 for all i know.. look at the return policy and try them out
