ayone know of one with floats, or somekind of water landing capable one? theres a lake i could take off from and if this could just float itd be perfect.
@Joesolo13 If you want an ultralight with floats you can build yourself then look at the affordaplane. I dont think anyone has done it yet but it could be modified pretty easily. The skypup has a really low gross weight. I'm about 200lbs and from what I have read about it I would need to go on a diet to safely fly it
@chipmunkhippo thanks for the advice, but ive given up on it for now. i realized its not a good idea considering it'd be taking off a lake right in the middle of a town, and im right under some flight path or other with jets always going over. i dont know if it legal or not but my parents have enogh issues with the people at town hall as is
I'm building a Sky Pup ultralight and have started a video builders log on Youtube. If anyone is interested in affordable flying the Sky Pup is a professionally designed ultralight that's made from foam and wood. My channel is skypupbuilder, flying should be fun and cheap!
This is a good looking Sky Pup. I like the engine location. What kind of engine is it? How did you work out the C/G from the stock set up? I would like to learn about your aircraft set-up.
Does the Sky Pup come as a kit or is it plans built?

Is this built from "model plane" leftovers?

We never saw him actually get out of it, so I wonder if that wind screen ever came off.

I would paint it in a bright blue with "SMURF II" on it...

Mi piace la combinazione di colori. Facile da vedere.
Si prega di spiegare il motore di montaggio? Il motore era troppo leggero?
È per questo che si è spostato in avanti - Che motore è?
Il parabrezza è elegante.

Nice color scheme.
And yeah, what's up with the motor mount? Engine too light I guess so you moved it forward - What engine is it?
Nice windscreen design, too.

Fly Delta's big jets, oh I'm sorry it's a Sky Pup, hope he used the correct foam

It's always nice to have that comforting layer of plastic foil between you and certain death!
