i carry a gun legally in fl. and i go out for the day on my motorcycle, if i stop in a bar for a beer or a bite to eat, i should be able to legally carry, anywhere, any time. unfortunately in fl. your not allowed. im not talking about getting falling down drunk, just being social. i can carry at a picnic where everybody is getting wasted, but not in a bar. i dont think its balanced, im trained and certified and qualified to safely carry a weapon, it should be at my discretion.

OK. The difference between 'accidental' and 'unintentional' is that accidental cannot be helped. It means that some external force besides a human being caused a gun to discharge. This is very rare. Unintentional means that you did not intend to fire the weapon, or shoot what you shot. But you did, never the less. It was either out of not following safety rules, panicking, lack of training, or sheer stupidity. It is very very rare that a "gun" kills someone. Or even shoots someone.

38 states have the same law. Hasn't been a problem so far. It's actually restaurants that serve alcohol, not places that ONLY serve alcohol. The CHL holder is not allowed ANY alcohol to remain legal, lest his permit be revoked if he's caught. But if I can carry my gun into a McDonald's to eat, why can't I carry my gun into an Applebee's to eat? Remember the McDonalds in Kileen TX? I think the responsible citizens who carry guys for a reason are called policemen. I don't have a problem with gun ownership at all. I just think it is a bad idea to have guns in a bar. It conjures up images of the wild west. A lot of those gunfights happened because of too much whiskey and not enough water. It is the same reason I think carrying a machete into a bar is a very bad idea. I think people go to either extreme but don't want to compromise. Leave it in the car. (out of space).

38 states have the same law. Hasn't been a problem so far. It's actually restaurants that serve alcohol, not places that ONLY serve alcohol. The CHL holder is not allowed ANY alcohol to remain legal, lest his permit be revoked if he's caught. But if I can carry my gun into a McDonald's to eat, why can't I carry my gun into an Applebee's to eat? Remember the McDonalds in Kileen TX? It would have been NICE if someone had HAD a gun in that restaurant. The gun cannot be bad. Only the person can.

I don't find that even remotely funny. Here in the free state of PA there has never been a restriction on people with a LTCF to go into bars. And guess what? There haven't been any cases (that I can find) where a person legally carrying into a bar used his weapon for a criminal act.
Even though it's supposed to be a spoof on the gun haters, this video just makes law abiding gun owners look like the idiots the anti's stereotype us as.

I have been carrying my gun in tennessee with my CONCEALED weapons permit for 5 years now. I am a army veteran.I carry because of the fucking idiot who doesnt give two shits for your life and wants his fix in that RESTAURANT and decides that the crystal looks like a good place to rob, just happens hes geeked out on something and decides to take someone hostage maybe its your sister? I do apologize, and as a fellow CWP holder, we both know that no CWP holder is going to go into a bar, get drunk, pull his weapon and shoot the place up.The point I'm trying to get across is that CWP holders are RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS and are helpful to communities, not harmful. Fact is, criminals sneak guns in regardless of signs or laws so it makes sense to let the law abiding citizens carry guns. Especially since they can't drink if they do.
