  • I love it, すごいですね。

  • 素晴らしい!

  • Italien du nord ??? Il chante en quoi ?? Suedois ? Portuguais ?

  • Well, My compatriot, was not French, but Norther Italian, like me. So he wasn't a frog eater, but a Polenta eater. His real name was Yvo Livo. We Italian, are very proud, of such a great chansonier, and mutli talent, with sucn a big Heart. Eviva Yvo.

  • @pietrobroglio oh man, who cares on what you're eating, when you 're singing?

  • Sad to think about in hmm, 50years i will be around 70~ and when i think back on my young days, all i can think of is stuff like lil'wayne, justin bieber, hip hop, rap, death metal, all that kind of bullshit. Sometimes i think i was born the wrong age. I'd like to think back on my young days with the thoughts of music like this, real music :( unfortunately thats not going to happen.

  • @75lauranna Ivo Livi was born in Pistoia, Toscana, and his family went in France when he was 2 years old. Ives "Montand" comes from "Ivo monta!", that in Toscano means "Ivo come back!". So.... Vive la France!

  • @SteliosT777 What a poor prejudice guy...

  • Have you heard Edwin Crossley-Mercer's interpretation of this famous song?

    I was captivated.

  • songs used to be fabulous, but today music has been dominated and ruined by justin beiber and miley cyrus and other people. old music actually had meanings to the lyrics, but today its just pa-pa-pa-pokerface-pa-pa-pokerface....and so on

  • Wonderful melody.

  • Utwór ten zaliczany jest przez krytyków muzycznych,do jednej z dziesięciu najpiękniejszych melodii świata..Jestem tego samego zdania.

  • LAS FLORES MUERTAS REVIVEN CON NUESTRO AMOR...escritoragaviota

  • Old music is beautiful, no matter what language it is in. Back then, singers had to rely on their voice, on their level of creativity, on their words. They had to touch the souls of their listeners. Unfortunately, today, singers can rely on autotune, special effects and sexual material for their videos and cheap words with no emotion. I applaud those artist who have the ability to rely on themselves. Yves Montand was such an artist.

  • @BreAna1393 -

Substance over form, versus form over substance.

  • @BreAna1393 You are so right. Do you think that old level of song aristry will ever come back??

  • @windstorm1000- You know, I don't know. I think that artists give us what we demand, what we're willing to accept. And if we're willing to accept crap, then that's what they give us. Unfortunately. It really is a shame, what music has become. =/ There are few well-known artist who sing about meaningful things anymore- or who sing at all. Lol so many of them get away with sing-talking nowadays. Do you think that it will?

  • @BreAna1393 - there are still performers like that around, thankfully. they're just not in the mainstream, sadly.

  • J'adore cette chançon! Ainsi que j'adore la musique français... Edith Piaf, Yves Montand

C'est l'histoire de la France et sa voix.

  • @cenerentolagr

No. He was born in 1921 -- (according to Wikipedia)

But you are right -- It can't be the 30s since he didn't start his singing career until 1944.

  • @chanpakfung I'm guessing late 30's as well
