and download the Dependencies and then you will have no more annoying brown boxes

@ashermamen234 It's not an easter egg. It's because when Sim City 4 came out, most of the Custom Content was downloaded from Simcity4.com. Now SC4.com, for the most part, it is longer supported by EA/Maxis. About 7 years ago, sites like Simtropolis where not in existence.

You have not downloaded any dependencies. Go back to where you found the mod or see the readme. Download those files and the boxes will disappear. Alternatively, go to 'my documents>simcity4>plugins' and delete the folder named 'mars mod' or something like that.

Some of my downloaded buildings are brown boxes like in this video, and I was wondering how to fix it so I can see the building instead of a brown box.

Example is Taipei 101. I downloaded it, but when I build it, it's just another stupid cardboard box!

I think that is SC4's way of saying something went completely wrong or your missing the models for it. But did you download the beta2 alone. It said you should also download the beta1 before the beta2.
