This fantastic talented trio have blessed me over and over again with this song.So many stories abound of angels in the room when Christians are passing away. I beleive God gives us dying grace and unseen witnesses to help us through our final hours. This song is a reminder. Thanks for posting !!!!!!1
@djoelewis Stay on the Gospel road.I was aved at 22 years old and I am almost 70 now.God is Faithful and True.He is ever by your side and will bring you through the fire of trials.
Being a singer and music lover all my life I can honestly say that I've never heard harmonies so pure and soaring as these. I am now and will forever be a fan of The Ruppes and The Ruppes Sisters. May the lord bless the Ruppes and their wonderful music.
My father just died on November 7, 2009 and we bought the "Angels in the Room" shirts because this song was so comforting. Unfortunately, my daughter's got stolen out of the locker room during dance class yesterday! It hope it comforts the thief and draws them into the heart of God! RIP Harold Gross
beautiful song and has meant a lot to me today! I lost my uncle and I listened to this to much comfort in this trying moment. Thank you for the comforting piece
my beautiful cousin passed away peacefully 27 days ago, and I held his hand when his angels came into the room to carry him away for that great reunion with the Father and the Son.
We were encircled by holy angels who came to take him to his great reward.
Thank God for the knowledge that we are never alone. Hallelujah.
Thanks for posting, Hoover. This song has brought me comfort and unburdening of great sadness in the days that followed his passing away.
this is so amazing...the words are very inspired..it gives a wonderful comfort to the soul knowing that God is in control of everything, and that not even death can scare me, that it will be ok, and heaven will be my sweet sweet home. And their beautiful voices makes this song even more awesome. thanks for posting! God bless you all
@cstanfield0333 This lineup of The Ruppes is: Brenda Ruppe (the mom) singing Alto , Kim (Ruppe) Lords singing Lead and Valerie (Ruppe) Ellenburg singing Soprano.
A third sister, Heather (Ruppe) Day, came in a few years later when Kim and her husband Michael formed LordSong (Day Three). LordSong toured with Mark Lowry for a while and even picked up Valerie and Heather when their soprano departed.
Now, Brenda is retired and the three sisters are back together touring as The Ruppes.
Beautiful song, as nothing on earth could feel much better than to be not afraid of death and to see angels at ur bedside. My mother passed on 3 yrs ago and told her sister that she saw them in the room on the day of her death, love u mom!:)
I had this song played at my sister in law's funeral in Oct 07, as a 'going away' gift. She loved angels, and how appropriate, since Mrs. Ruppe wrote this for her mother after she passed away. Her mom told her that she could see angels in her room, and asked if she could see them too? That's how the song came to be. I've seen the Ruppe's in concert at my church, twice. Awesome, totally awesome!!!!
I had this song played as a "going away" gift for my sister in law at her funeral 10/07. One day, I'm gonna have it played at mine, unless RAPTURE happens first. I've been blessed to see the Ruppes in concert twice, and the song is still just as beautiful on video.
I was blessed enough in this lifetime to see the Ruppes perform TWICE, LIVE at my church about 7 & 9 years ago; and I fell in love with this song. It was written by MAMA Ruppe, for her mother when she was on her death bed. I want it played at my funeral one day. My sister in law passed away in Oct/07, and I had it played for her, as a going away gift.
When I received word of the passing today of Leo Ruppe (husband of Brenda Ruppe, and father of daughters Kim, Heather and Val). I just HAD to hear this song again, and found it here on YouTube. Awesome song - it is SO touching, SO annointed, and sung so incredibly well by these extremely talented ladies. May the family be comforted at this time - the angels have carried him to his reward!
What's that ladies name at 00:14 seconds into it. She's blond and has a really high voice. I've heard her sing a solo a couple times, but haven't been able to find her online. Anybody know?
such pure pure voices, and the harmony, wow. thanks for posting this! these ladies are new to me and imma start looking all their song sup. ;-) totally made me smile.
For those of you who might not be aware, Kim married and now sings with her husband and Amber Franks of Georgia forming the group known as Lordsong. They tour with Mark Lowry.
this is the song they played at my mom's funeral today :*(
