• little bit strange rhythm

  • nice :)

  • It wasn't bad, but watch yourself back, you are only speeding up and speeding up... Stay at the same speed, then it will be much better, and think of using another cam or something, the qualitie isn't very good either!

  • lol, TEMPO CHANGE!!

  • bad ((( trening.....

  • Ok.. you're obviously TALENTED, but for some reason you're unable to keep a steady tempo. You just keep speeding up and speeding up.. I couldn't even listen to the whole thing because it turned into a huge train wreck :(

It sounded good at first, but you started making a lot of mistakes.. I'm sure if you kept the pace you started with, you would have sounded a lot better.

    Nice try though <3

  • f*ckin´ great!!!

  • well played, but please get a better camera

  • ur bloody brilliant u are :D

  • the end of this was amazing

  • ноты кривые

  • This is amazing, I can't help but watching it over and over again. I'm working on learning it, but I have trouble with some of the notes. Could you do a tutorial?

  • Oh man... can you please do a tutorial like Clubbed to Death? I beg of you! Please, please!

  • I..love...I love....I love you.

And this song. I've loved this song, since I was like, BORN. And I've never even thought of playing it on piano! I was looking at your Clubbed to Death and then I saw this! I LOVE YOU! Thank you, so, so much!

  • Haha. I play the song, but not better than that! I like the cover. There were a few spots that it seemed like you messed up a bit, but who cares cuz everyone messes up sometimes. =]

  • Well done!!!

    p.,s.

If some one does not like it.. PLAY BETTER! show it.. ...:)

  • god its so annoying when people are like "that one tiny little note dosent match the original song". who cares?? its his version of the song: if he plays a note differently does that suddenly make the whole song suck?

  • for me yes it makes the whole song suck. but it depends on the song 2. for this song it makes the makes it suck for me but his playing overshadows that so it's good.

  • YESH!!!!! IT RUINS THE ENTIRE THING!!!!! jk

I looked at the sheet music link in the description, and some of the bottom notes of the first page are messed up, and it doesn't seem to end the way you played it. How come?

  • its a bit fast,

  • Mh, It's fast, but not too fast. I play the difficult version and I have trouble to not accelerate. I find your video still really good.

  • hey, the playing is good, only thing is you play a little fast, so try to play a little slower, then u will play very good ;)

  • Amazing...

  • It's a cover. Maybe the wrong notes were part of his cover??

  • oui tu joues trop vite et certaines notes sont fausses mais c'est quand même bien je ne serais pas capable de faire ça moi même donc...

  • hurra!!

    Tanks for all (the notes)

    great job!!

    hurra!!

  • bravo

  • You played it too fast, haha. Try slowing it down and hitting the right notes, you'll find it easier. :L

  • a few notes were wrong but overall, the song was kickass! 5/5 dude. nice job.

  • wrong keys makes bad this song :( cheers

  • a few notes wrong but the rest is good:)

  • Great job :) dont listen to any of them, they're just mad because they cant play it as well as you can

  • no... Priceless :)

  • This is great :D I think the speed needs to come down a bit though.

  • I dont understand why people are being so rude about this video. He does a good job of the song. (:

  • @1:19 my favourite part. out of chaotic comes a mysterious tranquility. you played well man. kinda fast but still good.

  • this fuckin sucks...!!!

    all is wrong!!!

  • who cares if its fast or not? it's good stfu

  • Yeah, they keys played were right, everything was in order. It was good! 5 stars..

  • simply wonderful^_^

  • the songs is even more touching played fast...it;s an art to play so fast...i tryed but not succeed...i can only play yhe slow version...and not by notes..by ear..good job kid..5/5

  • Fast or not, sound very cool though!

  • Why so fast? Damn man young kids need to stop blowing their load so fast and enjoy shit.

  • Requiem for a dream is an emotional song. i don't like it that fast as you did. but the ending is very interesting.

  • too fast

  • 5/5 dude

  • It's a way different than the other Requiem videos on Youtube, but interesting :-)

  • Interesting remix...I like the ending part though.

  • u went faster. not cool

  • Sounds Fantastic.

Just a weee bit too fast though.

    The end is really cute.

    I love it. Kutos.

    4 stars.

  • Nice, But too fast I think...

  • Nice ending!!

But I think it's a little bit too fast...

  • nice playing dude, really great. like the way you started.

  • THE BEST!

  • Love ya babe!!! :D

  • very good

  • that was good i like the broken chords u played at the end...

  • wow.. amazing

    5/5

  • Sounds great !

  • Thank you very much for the sheets!!!

I can play it now :-D

I think it's a little bit too fast... but your ending is really nice!

    Great :-)

  • PERFECTION omg i love it at 58sec;p! how it went off course a bit than back to the bridge! meh im just over reacting! loves it;p

  • PERFECTION omg i love it at 58sec;p! how it went off course a bit than back to the bridge! meh im just over reacting! loves it;p

  • hum...its right...too fast on some parts....but ...its good :) i like it...;) perhaps you try to hear the original more frequently and train the speed:P:P all in all gj ;)

  • a little bit fast on some parts, but not bad. keep it up!

  • It is too fast at the middle

  • pleas dear god wont somebodie play a D in the left hand with the F's JESUS!!!

  • i don;'t get it?

  • It's a little sloppy. Use a metronome. I'm not sure if that was your whole intention of showing your dynamics but you rushed through certain parts of the song, and it doesn't sound good. Nice variation of it, though.

  • It't not a metronme issue. Clearly it was the purpose with change of pace but maybe the transition with the change can be done more smoothly.

  • agreed... the tempo should be 100 beats per minute

  • I really liked it :)

  • Slow down, let the notes resonate......

  • Nice sound however you tend to rush through parts and drag at others and it sounds sloppy.

  • OMG I love this song, good job

  • nice job i have my own version and it way better than the origanl

  • Impossible. Douche.

  • Rather than fight perhaps we can have you prove it, tape a video and post it on youtube for all to see. ^.^

  • wow thats a beautiful piano

  • Well done !!!!

  • i dont like it but nice

  • :P i dont like it : P

  • wow im learning this song on piano, i think its amazing, and so r u btw.

  • watch your tempo but bravo!

  • i love the beginning

  • i liked how you changed the pase of the music 1:20 through the song, sounded good. work on it some more

  • It was good but it started to weirdly speed up a bit in the beginning area like it was off. I play this song a bit differently. It was decent, seems like a small variation from the original.

  • Omigosh! You did really well! A true musician; put your own thing to it at the end!

  • Thank you!!! I always wanted to play this <3

  • wow , i can tell you put all of you emotion in this piece. When people do that, it makes the piece so much more beautiful and mor enjoyable. That was a very Nice job you did there ^-^ i couldn't play it better myself.

  • wow that's amazing

  • this was an amazing cover! I loved how you kinda changed some of the chords and made it your own! So amazing!!

    ♥

  • Lots of expression, best version on Youtube.

  • Holy cow. Amazing. Great job!

  • owwn dude

how pretty you can play it!

    wonderful

    ^^

  • wow such a powerful and strong chord

  • its a cover....he is doing slight changes to put a personal touch.

  • omg omg omg omg omg .ect

  • omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg etc?

  • Wow i love this, escpecially with the changes :D Well done

  • I think you guys don't understand. It's a cover, so some of the notes are supposed to be different. I think it kicks ass myself. Now I must go and copy it but not claim it, of course.

  • Needs a lot of work.

  • THATS ONE HUGE PIANO!!!!!!! O.o but you were still awsome

  • This is not the Overture, you are playing the song more like the track named "Marion Barfs" and also like the Lord of the Rings version in Two Towers. Listen to the song again. even in this version, your close, the right key just needs more notes. good job though

  • Awesome!

  • A lot of the notes you played were wrong- however, the piece was different then most covers and I enjoyed it

  • at the end you left out keys for your right hand, which is understandable because that's the hardest part of the song, but it makes it less powerful. I enjoyed the piece though.

  • how come the sheets u show rn't the same as the music u played?

  • just improvising the song (aka changing it slightly)

  • Excellent!

  • I do agree with most of the others, a bit fast but still very well played. Way better than what I can do.

  • very nice its your own cover and u made it nice and fast and skilled :D gratz that was nice

  • slow down ffs!, and play the real version !!, but you're good

  • to fast mate......slwo down then its gratz!!!!

  • gavage !

  • cool

  • very very good

  • Thought this song was called "Requiem for a Tower"?

  • Hehe.

    Snapple Fact #154:

When Lord Of The Rings : Two Towers was in production, they had a trailer for the movie with this song. They nicknamed it Requiem For a Tower for being played on the LOTR: 2Towers trailer.

  • yea i was ignorant at the time when i said that. then i watched the movie Requiem for a Dream and figured it out that Requiem for a Tower was remade for LOTR. But thank for the explanation.

  • No problem dude, at least you have the humanity to be honest about it.

  • it was only called that for the association with the LOTR movie the two towers,

it's more commonly known as 'requiem for a dream' but it's actual name is 'Lux Aeterna'

    :)

  • i love this song.

  • It's excellent. My only complaint is the overly loud bass notes in the beginning that kind of killed it. And it would've been nice to add the epic ending from the sheets onto the end of this version. But overall it was really good, I liked it.

  • like the fast pace, totally my style

  • Well I think it sounds very pretty. I've never heard it played like this. Well done. (:

  • Very rushed at intro/mid.. Also a break in play at the middle looked as if you didn't have it under your fingers for that part. My suggestion would be just to take the whole piece at a slower tempo. I suggest maybe turning your metronome up in intervals until you get a steady pulse that is good for you. Once you have that pulse you can start to fool around with the time. The ending sounded pretty good on the treble clef.

    Good luck on other work.

  • Nice job, Extract noob.

  • it is diff but just awsome just the same sick ass job!

  • very fast

  • It sounds different than in sheets .

  • it's because it's his own style....which killed the song

  • i like the ending, sounds very nice

  • Can I please have the sheet music for this song? thank-you

  • it's right in the info. look harder.

  • this is wisdom: let him who has understanding, type the number of the arranger into google, for it is a man's number, and his number is dustin naegel

  • ... to fast, wonderful as well !

  • Ofc it's your version ^^ I won't stop you from dreaming

  • well done, and thanks for the sheet music!

  • not bad.

but, before playing fast, you should further practice

  • Would you mind sending me the sheet music?

    jake1246@hotmail(.)com

  • Cool, but it sounds way better when that part at 01:05 is being played the original way. You also tend to look very mechanical and tense in your hands when you play this song.

  • dope

    dope dope

  • isnt this called lux aeterna?

  • your the only onr that got the speed right

  • need a better recording medium, too much rattle

  • Well, it also played in the teaser of Danny Boyle's Sunshine.

  • what the hell is red talking about?

just finished watching this movie..again :] nice job

  • This song has been played in numerous trailers since Requiem for a Dream came out in 2000. The song was used in The Lord of the Rings The Two Towers teaser trailer. Most recently it's been used in the I Am Legend teaser trailer.

  • Actually it's a different song in the I Am Legend trailer, but it is very similar

  • My favorite lord of the rings song w00t loved it

  • lol you simplified the hard part. good part still. i simplified it too when i played that song :D

  • In the middle, you kinda used a higher scale

  • nice job but you did a couple of mistakes>...

  • good job u got skills

  • A bit too fast! But good job!

  • Yeap! A bit too fast and simplified, but good job.

  • on of my fav vids mate.

  • thanks for the sheets

    xxxxxxxx

  • best ever ^.^

  • very nice ending but some of that sounded wrong :s

well done though mate, was good :)

  • good but keep a consistent tempo

  • U kinda speeding up slowly try to mantain tempo
