WordWizard, although this is a beautiful tribute to America, it is not the national song. When The Star Spangled Banner, which is the anthem, is played, people do stand (and usually place their hand over their hearts, as well).
im not american, if this man was irish and gave such a heartfelt performance of our national song the whole stadium would have been upstanding. james rules
