Because Windows Mobile 6.1 and 6.5 (coming this fall) don't support capacitive displays. Even if HTC wants to make one they can't for Windows Mobile just yet.

Depends on what you are looking for. The QWERTY keyboard is excellent on this phone, and iPhone 3GS doesn't have a hardware keyboard. But the screen on the iPhone is capacitive and works more smoothly than this phone and supports multi-touch.

i don't have this phone yet. and in the beginning I was considering leaving tmobile since my contract is up to get the iphone. which is a really good phone of course. but after trying out the touch pro 2 I've decided that i'd rather have it over the iphone. my biggest deciding factors were full flash on the touch pro with firefox. and the fact that I don't want to pay a small fortune to at&t for shitty service on a great phone

mobiletechreview is the screen kind of loose? i mean when u tilt it does it wiggle back and forth in the spot u put it...?

Once you tilt the screen in place, it sits pretty tight. But if you need to press something on the screen while it's sitting up, you will need to hold the back of the screen for hard presses. But if you just type on the keyboard, the screen sits very securely.

wait for the sprint version . It comes out sept 3rd . Sprint also has better prices and service, 99 bucks for unlimited everything... ether way for what every service you get you should wait until you can get something other than the tmobile version that does not have 3.5 mm headphone jack which really sucks .

if you live in one of the 13 largest cities in america, then its best to get this phone on tmobile. they have the best phone plan and service. 60 dollars a month gets you 700 minutes, my 5 favs, unlimited text and unlimited 3g data for browsing the web. I live in one these big cities. and I can tell you teen mobile has the best 3g and Ive never had one dropped call in 2 years. the next best service plan would be sprints at 100 a month for unlimited everything

Thats wonderful thanks. I also didnt realize that when you are on the internet and you hit the menu button there is a optinon to switch to multiple windows. Im excited about that. wish we could see that also ;)
