@2blikechrist This Shows God as a loving God because he chose "some" to not go to hell. God is in no way obligated to save anyone. Scripture says that we are Hostile towards God. But in love He saved some although all men deserve hell.
@shawn122100 ok he saved some... yay now what about the majority who did not ask to come in to exsistance??? He made people to throw them in to hell? I doubt it. Jesus came to save the "world" not a hand full. Also what is the point in the great commision if only the elect get in to heaven? What was the point of Jesus conversing with the rich man? He told him what must be done to get to heaven... was he just wasting his breath in a pointless conversation? Or making a way?
@2blikechrist I wouldn't say that argument would even work for your point of view because even if there was no "election" no "predestination". God Still in Eternity past was going to bring these people into existence knowing that they were not going to choose Him. Remember God is omnipresent, He is not bound by time. He knew before the foundation of the world that mankind was going to rebel against him. While everyone is called to repentance not everyone is going to come why?
@2blikechrist Part 2: "For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed."(John 3:20 ESV) People are actually evil and hate the God of the Bible, this was shown at the death of Christ. He came unto His own and his own received Him not. when you talk about the great commission, how can we neglect what the Bible so clearly says? We are called to make disciples who in turn are going to make more...
@2blikechrist Part 3: God uses use as vessels to reach those who He graciously saves. God will bring these people to a place of true repentance, and He will continue to sanctify His people. One man plants, another man waters but God gives the increase, God has promised that He will Build His Church... In Jesus Convo with the rich man, do you think that Jesus didn't know what was going to happen-He is God. Jesus brought forth the gospel, and let him know what was needed for eternal life. no excuse
i dont usualy think taking worldly style music like rap, metal ext and adding worship lyrics is a good idea, but having said that this song and its message was awsome!
@peterlabrie1 Rap's original intent was made to glorify God.. there is nothing wrong with rhyming, or rapping. As long as it glorify's the triune God-then it's honorable. Reading is also a "worldly" thing to do.. MANY non-Christians who HATE God, read... there are MANY secular books.. but is that to say we're not to READ the BIBLE?.. There are some amazing rap artist's who use their talents to give praise to God. Check out Lecrae, isix5, Trip Lee, Hazakim, Curtis voice allen, Shai linne :)
I recognize the voices of the last three clips that are played throughout the song' -Piper, MacArthur, and Conway- but does anyone happen to know who the first voice is? Just curious :)
I was shopping tha,t the Family Dollar Store today. He was out there selling his CD. I listen to his CD, its very good. IV it was nice meeting you. God Bless you. Gerry (The Tank)
Praise the gracious God who would save this sinner. If it were up to me, I would have chosen sin and death

The fact that God decided/chose to save ANY at all is a reflection of His loving, graceful, and just character.
