  • OK Jerzy, you win, I only meant well, I only tried to bring joy into someone's life. It doesn't mean I am evil. My comments are easily posted to everyone else. It is only YOU who can block my comments. No problem. Goodbye.

  • it is not a battle...:)) .. Dear Mr Hassony.

I treasure your presence here. It is a system and rules only which I hope I will be able to explain to you.

  • Infinitely sweet tango, Jerzy! I wish it was in a language that I could sing! Breathtaking fairytale photo of your mother! Like a real painting! And at 60 she was still a great, classic beauty; fantastic!! (You weren't so bad either, Jerzy, ha ha!) Incredible; through war and hardship and horrors, her beauty and style and poise remained indestructible! I have to make homage to Lady Lili/Helena, the Dolores del Río of Poland!

  • Dear Friend Hassony !

Your words are like a pure crystal mountanous air for... little fatigue lungs.

  • Piękne jest to tango

  • Thank you for the visit, Ofelia; your taste never fails...;)

  • Lovely tango both in Polish and German. I love Faliszewski's smooth voice and the robust orchestration.

  • Fine artistic touches to your presentation, much like those dishes you prepared for us. The accordions here have great sweeping power and one could mistake them for pipe organs, at least at certain moments. No wonder you remembered this record!

  • Nothing can make me glad so much as a contact with the attentive listener...:)

Syrena label started electrical recordings not earlier than 1929 and we can trace how they were "working" on sound at that time.

  • Good evening dear Jerzy. I am really glad to enjoy the Polish version of this delicious tango too! Every YT contribution of yours is a real pleasure for me. Thank you very much and Greetings from Vienna, Bernhard.

  • Your radiant words, B., made my Sunday morning; greetings from Katowice, J.

  • Gra mi w Duszy... Dziekuje!

  • Jerzy, Faliszewski is Fabulous in this Tantalizing Tango and your Polish Senora is absolutely beautiful. I am suspecting something about that Handsome man in the last photo, am I CORRECT? :-) Dziekuje Przystojny Senor!

  • Those were the days...;)

  • But still more to come...!

  • Sweet story :) and great Polish tango!

  • Merci.

I am not sure if it can be called Polish. Originally composed in Berlin (Parlophonman presented original) however, by a musician of "Jewish-Polish-Hungarian" roots.

  • Yes, but there is the so particular manner are played tangos in Eastern Europe :)

  • Oh, YES - very much.

  • Every piece a Masterpiece !

  • And a special effect of the switch-off sound of the recording machine - at the very end.

    :)

  • You and my friend Parlophonman bring beauty an harmony to You Tube.I enjoy all your postings.

    Thank you

  • Good harmonies need (little) moments of separation - they are SO refreshing...:)

    Thank you very much.
