so i understand how to control your computer through your ipod because it has the server on it and i have that running..but how do i control my ipod from my computer? i have vnc viewer but how do i connect to my ipod?

cant, then the VNC server would have to be on the ipod. such a program does not yet exist

ok..cause when you had the screen with the "donate" button on it on your computer, i thought it looked similar to one of the screens in installer and i had no idea whether or not you could have the server on the ipod. thanks tho.

how can you setup your connection so you can get on vnc from a friends house and control your computer

Although its doable, its a little tricky and not very safe, since it requires opening port on your home network. You need to enable port forwarding on ur router, then use your Router's public IP to login VNC Server.
A more feasible solution is using free/paid services like logmein, although I haven't used them.

Install VNSea on iPod Touch.
Install VNC Server on PC. Plenty of tutorials/videos out there to do so.
