this does work my hair is very bouncy when i do this ---not flat.Lifted at the roots.

Sometimes i use a scrunchie and it leaves an indent on the hair --so I use a blow dryer to get bend in my hair off

Do not tie up the hair too tightly ----though.

problem with this is you get clip and elastic marks :you wake up with big hair for sure though! because it dries with the roots lifted.

i tried it, and my roots slightly hurt, but it's worth it, mine was really wavy because i put it up after my hair was damp, but if u just straighten the ends with an iron, it looks real pretty. :) hope this helps!

you can just brush your hair up straight over your head without tying it at all if you don't roll around bed so much when you're sleeping. leaving your hair up gives it some extra volume if its at least medium in length shorter than that it'll might end up messy.

depends on how you want your hair to look like in the morning, i wouldn't put it up when its wet because it might look messy in the morning and also have like a wave in the midle of it...so it might look strange

well.. it wasn't a bad hair day. not at all :) actually, one of my friends, male friends, who hardly ever notice a change in someone looks asked me what did I do, cause I look so good today :) definitely try it, but make sure you lose the bun with like 30 minutes before.. otherwise you will get a great puff of hair! works best for straight or slightly wavy hair, otherwise could be too much :D anyway, i like the loose, sexy volume this gives.

hmm for me theres one big wave/curl when i part it to the side, and the ends curl up a little. It's volumous, but not too volumous. It looks sort of like hers, but not exactly the same =)

I do this sometimes :D It's just like having your hair in curlers overnight. Because she twisted it and knotted it, once it's released it still keeps the shape somewhat so you get a "wavy" hair look. You have to hair spray it if you want it to last through out the day though.

I have long curly hair and this really didn't work for me. I got alot of volume with a bit of a wave. The thing about this 'volume' is it gives that bump, like you've worn a ponytail all day and just took it out. It looked quite ridiculous.

i have curly long hair with bangs and do this when my hair is washed, towel dried, brushed and has a bit of leave in conditioner in it. my hair comes out really nice without the crunch =]

I bet it works on curly hair. i think it's so you wake up with a lot of volume. i would spray it with hairspray afterwards or use mousse. hope i helped

it really works wonders and if you put just a tiny bit of conditioner in your hair befor doing the bun it will give you extra shine. that´s at least what i figured out.

btw alejandra is my absolute fav, though i also like the so called plus size models. but she is soo sweet and natrual und not to skinny though.

no, it doesn´t. if you have thick hair (like me) then let it dry befor, because otherwise it will still be wet in the morning.

but if you have thinner hair wetness can make the shape stay longer in your hair.
