  • This is brilliant, "did I tap the brakes when I thought I saw a kitten" great line

  • haha, perfect! this will be stuck in my head the rest of the day lol

  • Awesome take on the real deal...

  • love your original sweets, another fantastic contribution to the world of ukulele greatness

  • Wonderful!

  • Loved it. 5 stars!

  • Oh yes.

  • Your original songs of the human condition are the best. You need to record a CD. If you record I will buy it.

  • I love it! Totally speaks to me with the two hour commute I'm doing each day to and from work. Sometimes I wonder how people ever got licences. Great song Adelle!

  • lol oh adelle. i like the vanity license plate part

  • I like the catchy chorus. You look too happy to be suffering from road rage, though. (I prefer it that way).

  • Ah, that was wonderful. :) Definitely hilarious. It's a relief sometimes to not do any driving while in England! Buuut then I get back to Massachusetts, where the drivers well deserve the nickname Massholes. :P

Excellent song and fantastic singing/playing! Love the vid. :D

  • Great song Adelle! And I guess the old saying is right: You never really learn how to swear until you learn how to drive.

  • brillianttastic

  • Ha! Love a sweet song about road rage! This is wonderful!

  • Nice

    5*

    All the best

    Kean

  • haha, this is freakin' awesome. great song Adelle!

  • All I wanna know is, when is your cd coming out? Because that is some great stuff right there!

  • GO DELLY! :-) That's made me laugh so much! So many great lines! A kickass but cute song! :-D Loving it! Favourited! Keep 'em coming Mrs! :-D X

  • Wonderful song! It's bouncing in my head already. Oh no!

  • Ha- I must admit it's catchy. Perhaps it'll be able to make you slightly less pissed when it pops into your head while driving one day :) Thanks for watching!

  • This is great! Love it!

  • Thanks, Mike! Glad you could dig it! See- hatred can be funny in a way that is acceptable to laugh about in public ;)

  • "If I got out and slapped you now - all the people behind me would clap..." lol... wow.

    My kind of line.

    Youz da bestest.

  • I am NOT to be encouraged- see what it does?

Thanks for helping inspire this... and I'm glad you mentioned that line. I actually found that one so funny myself I couldn't sing it without giggling at first. You know it's so true though.

  • Awesome! These hilarious and somewhat violent tunes of yours are my favorite!

  • Somewhat violent lol yeah ::grin:: I'm kind of a bad hippie. I don't know, maybe the drugs just aren't as good as they used to be... I find it sort of hard to love everyone.

Glad you enjoyed it, Miss Lonna. If you have any suggestions for universal hatred topics, I think I'm gonna be writing some more like this :)

  • Great lyrics :-)

  • Thanks, Sebi!

  • LOL at cell phone and left turn

    Oh no, you dint!

    Awesome song!!

  • Thanks, Al! You know how I roll. (On two wheels on the sidewalk)

  • Nothing warms my heart more than watching a beautiful woman singing a lullaby. Especially when it involves her killing someone. EPIC ******'s ~ Raz

  • Now *that was an awesome comment. Made me blush then made me grin. Thanks, Raz! All this encouragement makes me think I should keep with the comedic songs...

  • I like your song, Adelle, however I don't get all the lyrics (probably due to the fact that I'm no native English speaker). I'd love to read them, too... :-)

    5* in any case! :-)

  • I usually post my song lyrics, but this being a comedic song I didn't want any surprises spoiled. I appreciate the courtesy rating though- too sweet!

  • Love it! Going to be stuck in my head all day!

  • I have to admit it's catchy. It's the first time my own song has gotten stuck in my head... it was buggin me when I was trying to sleep last night. Just don't go blaming me for influencing you ;p

  • great song :) awesome lyrics

  • Glad you enjoyed it- hope it made ya smile :)

  • Lovely song, Adelle. I like the ending.

  • Oh yay I'm so glad you said that, Ken. I battled over the ending line & this was the winner out of 3 of them.

  • Go ahead and make a left turn....heeeee

    I love you so much.

  • I seriously began to wonder if a little old lady had died in the middle of her left turn the other day. I love you too, Booze. Now our future plans are getting more complicated... we have to listen to old cheesy ballads together & cry WHILE we're driving around flicking people off. It's gonna get complicated.

  • I travel by QRail -- can understand the feeling in principle, anyway.

  • I just hope it made you smile- that was the whole idea :)

  • I never smile on the train, but for you I will.

  • You can write about the most unique topics. I love it. Only you could make such a malevolent song sound so sweet.

    You're my favorite.

  • It sounded sweet because this is the sweet version... I could've been harsher ;p

No seriously thank you thank you Greg. That last sentence totally made my day. "I'm somebodies favorite."

I'm thinkin of doing some more like this... any other topic suggestions?

  • I love kittens, too.

(This, like your last-day song, is genius, pure genius.) You rock!

  • Thanks Bruce! I'm so torn... I could write a million funny songs or a million serious songs. Seems these ones go over better- it's a less populated genre... but it makes me feel like the sad clown, ya know?

  • One could say Shakespeare has the same problem. If you google "Shakespeare tragedies," you get 73,000 hits, but "Shakespeare comedies" brings up 81,000.

I would be one happy clown if I could write songs like this...

  • More proof that even the angriest song can sound light and fun when played on a uke.

  • Oh come now, Brad... this wasn't angry! Don't make me show you angry... ;p

It's not like I hate these people for fun... they make me do it.

  • Oh. Was that you in front of me this morning?

I am often amazed by the fact that I am the only competent driver on the road.

    Excellent Stuff, Adelle,

  • Yes that was me, and I heard you not only applauding but doing that two fingered whistle thing when I slapped the guy.

    Thanks, Yoppy!!

  • I had no idea the traffic to the IGA was so horrendous. Awesome song Adelle!

  • IGA plz

  • Oh hell yeah!!! This could be the anthem for my daily commute. Excellent song!

I too have a low tolerance for stupid. :-)

  • ...and the stupid out number us. It's gotta be a 5 to 1 ratio at least. ::sigh:: I almost feel bad about writing this song because it's like I gave all of their lives a purpose just now- justified their existences. Oh no!

  • Hehehehe (evil chuckle). Love it!

  • Thanks! Don't let me bring you over to the dark side, though ;)

  • Oh if things had gone differently in a certain situation, "You Ruined My Song" would not have happened. I had a very mean song all ready to go. :-P

  • nice work Adelle

    :D excellent song

  • Thanks Captains!

  • cool song adelle,

    cheers

    Ken G

  • Thanks, Ken- I appreciate it!

  • Great song, if they would just make rear mounted machine guns to shoot out the tires of tailgaters legal life would be so much easier!!!!

  • And we wouldn't even have to shoot people if they'd actually let us have em!! Everyone would be on their toes- er wheels- er.... everyone would pay more attention.

  • GO ADELLE GO!

  • lol Are you feelin it?

  • At least you are remorseful and aren't singing "Oh, Yes!" :-) Love it Adelly!

  • It's one of the times being a girl comes in handy... an eyelash bat & an "Oh no!" & you're off the hook.

    Thanks, DeG!
