Drawing Kaname Kuran - Vampire Knight [Requested]

Hi, excuse me, but are those Prismacolor colored pencils you are drawing with? I have such a hard time coloring with them T-T... Any tips? I was really impressed with your Kaname!! Thanks for doing him!

@LiDaMangaka mwahaha quick reply xD! lol and no, I used Crayola and Watercolor pencils by SARGENT Art. But for a tip, hmmm, well I just go with my gut when I color, and hope the result looks like how I want it to xD! lol, and if you havent heard this, you could blend colors with a white to make it look smoother ^-^

But you really should watch some of my newer drawing vids (preferably my Ichigo or Ao No Exorcist drawing...i despise this drawing :P lol), And I think i've improved a bunch since this one

hey also are u looking at a picture of whatever ur drawing while u draw or are u doing this from memory and how long does each picture take about

and do u practice drawing the picture a couple times befor actualy drawing it

@XxKilluaKunxX Dont give up drawing D:! If you keep trying you'll get better! And yes, I am looking at a reference for this picture, I actually have never seen Vampire Knight so there is no way I could do that from memory xD! Also I dont practice drawing the pic a couple times before drawing, I just draw and waachaa, hoping not to mess up xD! lol, I draw the picture lightly at first to make sure its accurate, then I go over it darker. Oh, and you should see some of my newer drawings :D!

@HoRsEoBsEsSeD3 hmm, thats hard to explain actually xD! I always liked to draw ever since I was in 2nd or 3rd grade, and a whole bunch of people thought I was good (of course now I improved soo much xDD)! And I found out that my grandma (or someone in my family thats old xD) was actually a good artist, so I guess it runs in the family :P... idk, I get better from practicing, and am a natural too I guess :P...

ps. Im terrible at drawing horses lol, thats one animal I am bad at drawing xD

this is definitly your best video ever, i love that you put a black background to make him more noticable, the eyes look really good, sometimes i get a hard time drawing a new style like drawing DBZ, the hands and body was hard to do

@ttpiett Wow, thank you ^_^!! You really think this is my best video? (I personally like the one of Trafalgar Law the best). But I still think the eyes look a little weird :P. I actually tried drawing him before about a month ago, but I still couldnt get the eyes to look right back then either lol. So I moved on to drawing a whole bunch of other things, and never got back to drawing him until now :P

@BeckaBeck21 well im pretty busy. Im going to have 2 drawing competitions, another request to do, and i have to plan what Im going to do on Whytmanga's tournament. I might draw him, but dont expect it to be any time soon :P

Awesone job! Lol water colors are sooo beast! xD and i now wat you men by having difficulties drawing eyes that arent a particular style tht u r used too. But man to me u aced the eyes! And was that charchol u used to blend out the backround? Jw hahaha lol n i has a requedt if its not to much ttouble .., how bout Megurine Luka :DD shes awesome! @vangaurd204 Thanks XD! And yes, I used charcoal for the background. And i just now looked up what you requested, and I'll draw her XDD! But it might take a while to get to... I have 2 people that Im going to have a competition with first, and there is a huge drawing tournament that im going to enter by Whytmanga (you should enter^^!). And np, i write essay comments all the time XD!
