How is it that the Basij are not serving the interests of the people of Iran - especially considering the fact that they are patrolling the streets of Iran? (Wouldn't/couldn't they technically be considered/label fanatics or even terrorists - to some point? If that's the case, then why isn't the government doing something to expel these people and thus, protect *OWN* its people!)
How very sad that the Iranian government/police/basij think they have every right to tell people *EVERYTHING* they can and cannot do! (Have they named themselves as "God" or "Allah"?! Then how do they have any say over these people's lives/actions?)
Go away basiji man - leave these people alone! Let them mourn and pray at the loss of a fellow human being. Go and do something important and worthwhile in your life - instead of constantly attacking and criticizing your fellow countrymen and women!
It also struck me that it is the *BASIJI* that is provoking things - and thus making the situation worse!...The common, civilian people are assembling *PEACEFULLY* and *QUIETLY* - and by every God-given right - have the right to do this!
I hope and pray that fate/karma will prevail in this situation - and when this old man dies, nobody comes to gather at his grave and mourns his passing! (What's fair is fair, I say. Moreover: what comes around, goes around.)
Thanks to 2009Iranian Revolution for the English translation of the conversation (subtitles). I've watched a lot of videos in Farsi and understood nothing, but this video was simple to understand. Thank you very much for the video. People all over the world keep an eye on the events in Iran and support the protesters. Keep on fighting for freedom and your rights. Our thoughts are with you. (Ukraine)
I'm sorry People, that man/child basij wants to feel like he has some power, because he is a pathetic man/child. I'm a white american but I say Marg Bar Basij

this is the reason religion and government must be separate: together they create blasphemy.
