To all of the people arguing about long annoying trips: my family (my parents, sister, two brothers, and me) drove to Seattle, Washington. -__- i live just a little south of Houston, Texas. We slept in the car most of the time. I had to share the back seat with one of my brothers. He kicks in his sleep. Then after spending not even a week with my grandma (who actually lives like an hour away from seattle) we had to drive back.

Sometimes I find it difficult to believe in water shortages and hosepipe bans because it rains all the time where I live. It rains in summer when it should be too hot and it rains in the winter when it should be too cold. It's something to do with the north atlantic drift and the moorland but it culminates in a lot of rain. You could move here and literally never have to water your grass, even in high summer. I feel like I'm stealing somebody's rain.

as for your question about nerds, i don't think any of us intentionally became nerds as we were all probably forced into that category around 6th grade when such things started to matter. the important thing about our status as nerds is that once we noticed we had been slapped with a label, we accepted our titles and wore our nerdiness with pride. and thus the nerdfighters were born.
We are nerds because somewhere in our youth we started learning things that people weren't even trying to tech us, because we stopped caring solely about going outside and making a mess of ourselves. I grew up many miles away from my nearest friends house. Instead i played with K'nex, and discovered the discovery channel.
Nerd fighters take pride in the fact that a man can dress like a woman and still look cool doing so. we put the FUN in Disfunctional =] and brighten the days for you average "justs"
John, the oposite of nerd fighters...in my opinion, are "just" people. they, and not to quot "Mr. M's wonder imporium"...ok yes i am quoting it but it's moral holds true all the same, theyare "just people" because they dont take joy in dancing in amsterdam or see peeps and think "that's just peeps" when we see a challenge of who could eat those one hundred peeps.
i am a nerd by my definition because 1. i like being a nerd, 2. i enjoy doing crazy, spontaneous things even if people are watching, 3. i have fallen in love with the idea of being made of awesome, and 4. because when i was fourth grade, i could read books on the same level as a junior in high school. [check that, because that is seven, yes, SEVEN years between my grade, and the grade level of literature that i could actually read and understand, and i think that's pretty awesome.*happy dances*]

i hate to say it, but driving through PA most likely takes a lot less time than trying to get ANYwhere in Texas. from bottom to top it's about 16 hours. [from Brownsville to Stratford] :(
I agree, it is long, everytime i go to MD, I somehow miss the Welcome to PA sign, mostly cuz I tend to fall asleep on long car rides..but yeah, NJ and PA are long rides, I can never tell where one ends and the other begins :o)

Hi John! I can't believe that today is your last post! I haven't seen it yet because I've been watching all of the videos up till this one since three days ago. My sister raved about it to me and I think that nerdfighters are definitely full of awesome and so is upgraded brotherhood. I am now considering to upgrade sisterhood, but it is difficult when sisterhood encounters menstrual pains and moodiness once a month. Midol?

I'm a nerd because I realize that I'm not going to remember "friends" that made me look good as long as I didn't make them look bad. I'm going to remember and keep the friends who stood up for me, brought me and up instead of putting me down, and made me laugh instead of laughing at me.
I am a nerd because I, um...care. I care about little things in my life...that will make a difference in the long run. Like my education. We are proud to be "Nerd Fighters" becouse we are all,as a unit and as indaviduals, are fighting our hardest against suck in the world unlike most partys in the world,I'm not pointing fingers! So amongst all the groups of people in the world we are actually DOING SOMETHING. Being a nerd, in most cases means that one has a higher level of intelligence. I cannot see that as a bad thing. So the better question would be, "Why are there so little nerds in America?"

Hi John! I can't believe that today is your last post! I haven't seen it yet because I've been watching all of the videos up till this one since three days ago. My sister raved about it to me and I think that nerdfighters are definitely full of awesome and so is upgraded brotherhood. I am now considering to upgrade sisterhood, but it is difficult when sisterhood encounters menstrual pains and moodiness once a month. Midol?

pa...is.... long! I know from experince. And I don't think people can choose to be nerds...its just the awesomeness from inside builds up and flowes out in different awesome ways. I am what I am and what I am is an awesome nerdfighter. ^_^

I'm a nerd because I realize that I'm not going to remember "friends" that made me look good as long as I didn't make them look bad. I'm going to remember and keep the friends who stood up for me, brought me and up instead of putting me down, and made me laugh instead of laughing at me.

I am a nerd because I, um...care. I care about little things in my life...that will make a difference in the long run. Like my education. And while my friends think it's all a joke, I put my head in the books and I go. And I'm proud because that is what I think is right. Because I think that'll get me ahead. And I think that's pretty awesome.
