@bodiloto, No seas tonto! 'In questa' es la principal aria de la soprano! Seria un publico maleducado si aplaudiera al tenor, es normal. Pero seguro que al final del acto y de la funcion aplaudirian a los dos grandemente! Nilsson queria y apreciaba especialmente a PD...ahahaha!, Placido no necesita ahora demostrar nada a nadie, el publico mundial es un poco mas inteligente que tu y mas respetuoso con el gran PD!...
she was the greatest singing this role! Actually I'm not a Corelli fan but this role fit with his his voice like a glove singing with her. Domingo did fine here going up with a big voice like hers. He is not a high C tenor, so he did not hold it and the fact you heard him with her is a compliment to him. I heard Nilsson as Tosca in house and it was a huge voice that no tenor could drown out. He was young here, later he could not have sung the C of of course.
@SHICOFF1 Cpmpletely agree: Domingo has done a wonderful career but secondary parts were wonderfl for him! When he started to sing èrimary roles, all his technical flaws emerged with his nasal (dreadful sound). Extremely overrated tenor of our time!
@vivadomingo1, it's possibly did not count, because most of times I see they by my smartphone, I think it doesn't count for the views score. Anyway, thanks to you again for work about these videos¡. Le niegan el pan y la sal a PD, mientras pasan de puntillas por el 'historial negro' de otras grandes figuras de la lirica. Hay algunos tenores famosos que no tuvieron ni 10 años buenos de carrera...con momentos realmente penosos.

Año 74, qué quieres, si no le sacas uno ahí, cuándo? La zona por encima del si bemol para domingo resulta siempre tensa y extremadamente "enellímite", obviamente, más conforme pasaron los años.... aunq no demasiados.
