You're absolutely right. He should have gone jeeping instead, and then you could have gotten together for an enjoyable evening after battling the snow and the dirt separately! No need to make mud by doing activities together that one of you don't like.

I like your approach. I love to ski, my ex-husband hated it, but insisted on coming along. It was total misery for both of us and we never went again. He should have gone jeep riding and I skiing, and we both would have been happy.
