Too bad we wont see Tsu'tey and Laz Alonso anymore =(....such great actor and character, really felt sorry for him, when I saw the extended version....I dont understand why the hell they cut that part out from the original movie, it was propably the best of these extra scenes.

@tylenol2k7 Well that's exactly the one area where Avatar 2 could do better...I doubt it will be that amazing visually anymore (altough we are sure to see some cool underwater scenes), but hopefully Cameron would be able to create little more original and not so cliche and predictible script/storyline...still I think the storyline did work well in the first atlough sure, you already knew more or less what was going to happen if you had seen trailer and Pocahontas or Dances with Wolves

@Balnazzardi actually my theory is it will have the same visual if not better if you watched the making of avatar they had to spend money to make the stuff that could make the graphics that good but now all they have to do is slightly advanced their technology not start all over from scratch and i disagree with dances with wolves remember they eventually succumb to colonists the tribe at least and that was a true story not a fictional script

providing its james cameron who does avatar 2 it should be a success! i mean just think back to terminator 2, he made the sequel better than the first one , a rare thing for a director to do...

i doubt that they would make a squeal. Depending on how it is...eh.. i wouldnt see what type of story they can do. The rest is just jake living out his life. I can see a book series but not a second movie. they came back with bigger guns..it just be dull and not as exiting as the first one. And if he has the na'vi become more advanced it takes away from the original appeal. But who knows, if we do get a sequel it wont be for at least 5 years maybe less or more.

There's a deleted scene where they show Tsu Tey's actual death. He instructs Jake to become Omaticaya's leader and to kill him becuase Wainnfleet cut off his Queue which is what they used to bond with everything.

i read the full script that contains EVERY scene that was deleted, including a scene on earth, neytiri's sister, a scene where tsu tey and jake get drunk, what happened to Grace's school and MORE.

that and there is a video of james cameron talking about scenes he removed from the film. at one point in time he was going to leave it in, but in the end he decided to keep it out.

on another note, watch the trailer for Avatar again. they show a deleted scene.

at around the first 10 seconds, when they show jake on his wheel chair. see the soccer game going on in the back? they don't show that in the movie. it's actually at a bar on earth where jake gets into a fight before he finds out about tommy's death.
