you can bring objects in the ring. grab the object stand on either side of the ring and throw it in. it works with the table and with the metal box.

it is possible to bring weapons into the ring by tossing them into it from the side while jumping and it is also possible to break most attacks in 4 player mode.

I know you can break attacks in the first one, but not grapples. But I didn't know about tossing the weapon in the ring. Why they set it up like that is beyond me, but I'll check it out and make a correction later.
