I'm sorry. But, you're terribly slow. Learn to consolidate and be more efficient with making drinks. Definitely not fast by any means. You're about as fast as a restaurant bartender.
no offence but this looks horrible - and before I get any rude replys I am a REAL bartender and have been for 13 years and again no offence but the ppl I have hired from bartending school do not last - when it comes to REAL drinks and ppl they ALL buckle under the pressure!!
@saracriojasdfw no offense taken. Only you need to understand is that this is a video of a bartender we asked to come and teach a class at a school. He is a bartender of 15+ years, with experience in dallas, austin, houston, san diego, and costa rican bars. He is a guest instructor who was invited to try and beat our speed record we had for the final exam. Which he did by about a minute on his first try. Your experience with bartending students must have been bad. There are many successes.
Just as more FYI. I'm a "REAL" bartender too, at a volume bar, and I wouldn't say it looks horrible, but there is room for a decent amount of improvement. For example, in the kamikaze shots (and royal fucks and actually with the sex on the beach), he could have poured with both bottles in his right hand and used the gun with his left hand. I also wouldn't think there's any reason to shake the long island - just turn it over once.
Also, no offense taken, but im sure you are more than welcome to come out and try your hand at these drinks. OR post a video response. One thing that Ive learned over the years of bartending, is that "Everybody" is a bartender... Everyone thinks that there way is the "Right" way... Someone that starts out talking about how long they have been bartending for is usually a douchebag. you hear it all the time. I know many bar school students who are also success stories... cont
cont.... I know many bar school grads that would run circles around many of these lame ass DFW bartenders. (Anyone reading this knows what im talking about) When i find a bartener in dfw that is any good, i know ill be back. rarely happens. Youve seen them, the pissed off looking ones that shove a drink in a glass, stick a straw in it, and take your money, lol It doesnt matter what training you got, but how and who, and what you did with it... for some people it works
instead of talking trash, how about you showing that you can do better..(rather than you watching old people have sex...) I bet you cant make half these drinks correctly in the same time.
