Machida ran for most of the 5 minutes in the first round. He landed 2 clean punches while Jones Landed 2 solid leg kicks. It was clear Jones was the aggresser and Machida wasnt doing much other then run. I'd score the first round a draw even but i can see either side getting the nod.

I won my parlay of MIR, LIL NOG and BONES all to win inside the distance so it was good in terms of finishing in the black with some good money in my pocket, but overall had a bad losing record....lol.
the judging was terrible all night long. only fight they got right was bocek laying and praying for 3 rounds. Watson should have won and Patrick should have won as well. and 2/3 giving jones the first is insane. this is really frustrating for fans and especially people betting on these fighst and getting robbed.

First round scored for JONES?!?!?!? Absolutely foolish. The first round wasn't exactly a run away for Machida but it was pretty clear he landed more than Jon Jones did. I know it has no bearing on this fight but it's an overall MMA issue. The judges might have screwed up this decision and could easily do it again in any fight.

There was a point were Machida stopped bouncing and was flat footed and looking at Jones. In that moment I knew that was it. At that moment I was concerned he got tired and then it was curtains.

Machida ran for most of the 5 minutes in the first round. He landed 2 clean punches while Jones Landed 2 solid leg kicks. It was clear Jones was the aggresser and Machida wasnt doing much other then run. I'd score the first round a draw even but i can see either side getting the nod.

the judging was terrible all night long. only fight they got right was bocek laying and praying for 3 rounds. Watson should have won and Patrick should have won as well. and 2/3 giving jones the first is insane. this is really frustrating for fans and especially people betting on these fighst and getting robbed.

First round scored for JONES?!?!?!? Absolutely foolish. The first round wasn't exactly a run away for Machida but it was pretty clear he landed more than Jon Jones did. I know it has no bearing on this fight but it's an overall MMA issue. The judges might have screwed up this decision and could easily do it again in any fight.

You said it on Machida. Dude was being a master ninja first round, won it. BUT he loss his concentration(between rounds) as u said. Made 1 big mistake in 2nd. Then it just went downhill that last minute. I was a little worried for Big Nog. i knew with absolute certainty he would not tap. I dont believe in God, but i was praying for ref to stop that arm from being broken even if everybody cried "early stoppage" after including Big Nog.

Machida, never the most powerful puncher, hit him once or twice on the cheek & side of the head (not on the chin), but it was always at the end of the punch. It was never flush. For a guy with 7foot reach who was actually getting hit at all by Lyoto is impressive, the only reason Lyoto couldn't knock Jones the fuck out is because A: That wrestling for Jones is always there, as we saw in round 2, and B: Jones always had his long ass arms up keeping that insane amount of distance away. He shouldn't even be fighting in LHW at his size just because it makes all the other guys look like a weightclass smaller but whatever. Good win, lame loss for the Dragon.

I scored that Jones-Machida first round a draw. Neither one really did much...Jones missed timed and Machida spent a great portion of it running away. Notice that Machida was breathing a little heavy at the end of that first round. Adrenaline rush, added muscles mass??Jones is a smart fighter and figured Machida out in that second round. BTW, you're dead on...Big Nog should have kept pounding Mir's face. Why did he let up? Tito "I think his eye got poked....No, his side got poke!" LOL!!
