  • One of the greats, stirs emotions that only few can do with their voice and passion. Remember when I first heard this song by TT way back - bought the 12" vinyl single right away.

  • One of the greats. Thanks for sharing.

  • listen to what he is saying at the end of the video. I don't how he died, but I am sure it was questionable.

Most entertainers who speaks their mind don't live very long.

  • Ok this is to sexybrownsuga11, essingtonjoshama, and paddicakes ... would really like to know who yall are because tyrone is my legal godfather ... paddicakes there is some truth to your story because he did live in fort lauderdale in the early 90's .. thats because he lived with my dad and mom for a certain time .. would really like to talk to each and everyone of you all .. if your stories are true.

  • Classic tune. Reminds me of my Plumstead reggae days. No one leaves the party until this music is played. Big mistake by the BBC to ban this song in the 80s considering all the rubbish we have to listen to. RIP Bro.

  • :( No way I didn't know he passed Tyrone you had a good soul...I remember meeting him in St Elizabeth Fairfield aka Cheap side at Moss Birdy's shop he offered to buy me a drink! May he rest in peace <3

  • how did he pass away anyone?????

  • man shivers down me back hairs on me neck stand crucial

  • that voice!

    that's true schooolll

  • this is something else man damn i love this tune

  • Another legend lost! Big up

  • Tyrone Taylor was an AWESOME MAN and Step Father. My mother was married to him for years and we lived as a Family in Ft. Lauderdale Fl. Although he didn't get the recognition he deserved...hi talent, his music and his memories will live on. He told me he wrote Cottage in Negril for my mother. We Miss YOu Tyrone! May your soul rest in peace!!!

  • sorry for your loss man i love this song takes me back to my youth beautiful lyrics and so heartfelt R.I.P tyrone your music live on

  • were you at the funeral I was there I have all the pics man. I am from negril West End.

  • No I wasn't....He actually went to England if I'm not mistaken and we lost contact...someone called and told us after the fact. Can you email them to me. I'd greatly appreciate it.

  • i really don't mean to be rude but i just wanted to know who you are because my mum was also married to tyrone from 1994 to present times they nevergot divorced so i don't understand when did he marry ur mum ?

  • I dont know who you are but my mom was legally married to my father Tyrone Taylor from 1978 till the day he passed. He told me while dying that he had married other women but never divorced my mother, because he knew she would take care of his affairs. My uncle and I buried him in ST. Elizabeth, December 17.Unfortunately your moms marriage as well as others that he married was never legal. He spoke to my mom one hour before he passed. Hoepfully this clears up any confusion.

  • you got to keep this footage up--- this is classic. he sounds fantastic live. rip. love this song!!!

  • Another great talent gone.

Unfortunately TT never got the recognition or success that he deserved.

    God RIP Tyrone

  • R.I.P TYRONE DESCANSE EM PAZ!!!
