close, the intro starts on frets 4 and 5. its the way the song was initially played by BOC. theres so many different tutorials that are wrong or fretted in a way that makes it so difficult and it's really not hard
I was looking for a BOC video and ran acrossed your lesson on this intro. It's probably one of the most up close lesson's i've seen and note position talk. After the practice and playing by the radio it will be a great song to play. Any way, the lesson sounded familiar to the song. thanks. keep practicing giving lessons, you do well.
this sounds good, but try 5th fret g and b strings (same time) then 3rd fret on b and 4 on g (same time again) then hammer back to 5th g and b, then 1st fret b and second g (same time) then 3rd fret e high string and 5th fret b (same time) and repeat, do it fast or it wont sound right

the beginning is played with diads...in thirds..
a diad is 2 notes played together.
much like a triad which is considered a chord.a chord is 3 or more notes played together...
back to the diads in major 3rds....
Not to burst your bubble here , but you are incorrect about some of this stuff...
