if you have spiral curls like me, you have to brush it in the shower with conditioner in your hair. if not you'll def rip out your hair if you brush it when dry.

your not supposed to use the conditioner on the crown of your head, only on the ends and a bit higher. if you use it on the crown of your head, then it flattening your hair/volume, making it look a bit greasy.
