I like this music but I never understood the attitude...on one hand they want to brag about how they're these big bad criminals, then on the other hand they want to complain about the police harassing them. Of course in LA during this time there was plenty of police brutality, but all of the victims of police brutality were supposedly innocent...so what about those who are admittedly guilty and even brag about their crimes on records, what right do they have to complain? Complex stuff...lol

@Bystander81 What do you mean during that time( 1980's)?? Police brutality has gone on since the first time the "flatfoots" hit the streets and continues to this day! WTF are you talking about? By the way, noone has ever said EVERYONE that is beaten by police is innocent, but why beat someone that has their hands cuffed, behind their back and in some cases laying on the ground? 5-20 policemen beating the crap out of someone like that will make things much better, eh?

@Bystander81 But as always, police can beat the shit out of people, shoot them in the back, shoot them in the back as they lay on the ground handcuffed and kill them, but not get into trouble because their gun "accidentally" went off because they thought they had grabbed their stun gun. Wow a cop doesnt know the difference between a gun and a stun gun. Great! You continue to support them, pal!

@NYCNorthNJ777 The amount of cops who make "mistakes" like that is nothing compared to the amount of thugs that kill (even children) over a few dollars in a drug deal. And I never said I supported the cops, I just asked a question about something that doesn't add up. I didn't say it was ok for the cops to shoot people, it's not ok for anybody to shoot anybody so don't jump to conclusions unless you know the entire story of what I was tryin to say

@Bystander81 Wait a sec, cops beating and or killing people are "mistakes"? But thugs kill just to kill? When thugs shoot people that can be defined as a "mistake" also, correct? I possess enough common sense to know when a thug or anyone shoots people especially innocent ones they should be incarcerated if it isnt self defense! But, cops do it and their punishment is either desk duty or suspension with pay!

The situation you described in your original argument was that a cop uses a gun instead of a tazer because he made a what...a "mistake". That's the point I was making, how are they going to talk about killing like it's all horrible when the cops do it, but then they glorify it and brag about it when they do it themselves?
