To all you morons that hate on the V8 swap, I'd like to introduce you to Formula Drift. 99.999999% of the cars that race (or at least WIN) in that series that aren't already RWD with V8's are tiny imports with V8 swaps (and if needed like in the case of Scions, changed over to RWD, obviously). The imports that keep their original 4 or 6 cylinders are usually walked all over by the V8 guys....with that being said, where's the downside to this swap again?

Add a few perforance parts, some steel and welding, and you have a one of a kind honda that you can find engine parts off your buddys truck.

To all you morons that hate on the V8 swap, I'd like to introduce you to Formula Drift. 99.999999% of the cars that race (or at least WIN) in that series that aren't already RWD with V8's are tiny imports with V8 swaps (and if needed like in the case of Scions, changed over to RWD, obviously). The imports that keep their original 4 or 6 cylinders are usually walked all over by the V8 guys....with that being said, where's the downside to this swap again?

@CMI1986X64 yeah but you gotta remember if you lets say drop a b18 v-tech motor, or even better lets say a k20 and boost it you can turn more rpm's. faster and higher then any v8. and with the turbo you'll have alot more torque and horse power at higher speeds

Anyone says that this is dumb or pointless doesn't get the point. It was done to be different. Everyone has a honda. Everyone with money that likes fast honda has a fast honda with a honda swap. Now think about this. THAT'S TOO EASY!! He probably wanted a challenge and something different. Plus I can get a chevy 350 that runs at a junkyard for around $500. Add a few perforance parts, some steel and welding, and you have a one of a kind honda that you can find engine parts off your buddys truck.
