  • Thanks!! Hd212 kicks ass!!

  • Do you have to order online? Is there any stores in Canada that might carry these? thanks

  • Thank you very much for this video. Sound cut out today from the left ear on my 9 year old HD212s that I use every day and I was just about to buy a replacement and trash these. Instead, I've now ordered some new pads and a new wire.

  • @what42 You're welcome. Glad the video helped you out.

  • Thank you for helping me save my beloved HD 212s!

  • a relief...i have been looking for moderately priced headphones with detachable cable as i have been through 5 headphones in last two years. I was about to order some bose headphones mins from now and just came across this video. Thanks for the info mate you just saved me a fortune. I have found a place where i can still get one of these... i think i will buy some replacement pads and cable to last me in the future as well :)

  • @pathdestroyer Glad I could help

  • Thank you! I have the same model, but can I build the cable by myself?

I can't find that little connector for the earpads...

  • Hey, thanks for the guide and link to the parts. I'll try to get them, and restore my head-phones. I felt very sad when my cable died. You saved me.

  • Thanks for posting this. They're the most accurate cans I've ever used.

  • @cicciideas You're welcome. They are indeed very nice for the price.

  • They're an amazing headphones!! But they´re out of production :(

  • @marcosmendez25 Sennheiser should come out with a HD212 Classic model. Same internals just a slight & modern revamp of the housing/exterior looks.

  • Here is the funny part... I've had mine for about 2 years now and recently noticed right ear cup went out. I figured this is bad (thought it was the cup) Then, I was moving the end of the cable near the cup and it came out (I was surprised) Never knew the cable was removable. The problem was that the cable was bit loose, but I just pushed it in and it's all good now. I knew my HD598's cable is detachable, but not on HD212pro's. Nevertheless, they sound moderately good compared to HD598.

  • @xbsoft Exactly why I posted this. I figured if I went through this and almost tossed away a great pair of cans that only needed a little TLC, that there must be other people out there in the same situation. Although you didn't have to deal with buying a new cable I know how you feel about discovering that your beloved cans where in fact just fine.
