I first started listening to Mushroomhead when I found a video for Simple Sacrifice ondemand. These fellas have risen on my list pretty quick. This is METAL, great metal. I remember a world without Slayer (saw them perform before 500 people in Flint, MI way way back). The Metal should not be tucked into a little slot, it should be turned up loud enough to blow the demons back to hell and have the neighbors call the cops...Flint City was surprised at a 47 year old blasting the COC.

Mushroomhead got their start while slipknot was still doing garage practice & bar shows with their original singer Anders Colsefni while slipknot was known as Meld around 95 they adopted the name Slipknot from one of the songs they named the same later down the road recruiting Cory Taylor from the already decently known Stone Sour.
